* CardCarryingVillain: A milder example than his father, but the trope still applies. There are occasions when it\\\'s played with. Several times, Junior has been caught responding to something in manner not unlike how any normal child would react, only to quickly correct himself and act more like an evil prince. One such instance occurs in Mario & Sonic 2012: when he first finds out Shadow and Silver know who he is, his initial reaction is innocent surprise, which he immediately tries to cover up with a boastful claim that of \\\'\\\'course\\\'\\\' they would know who he was.

I don\\\'t like this example. Here\\\'s a breakdown of what\\\'s wrong with it:

\\\"A milder example than his father, but the trope still applies.\\\"

\\\'\\\'\\\'How? \\\'\\\'How\\\'\\\' does it apply?\\\'\\\'\\\'

\\\"There are occasions when it\\\'s played with.\\\"

\\\'\\\'\\\'I really dislike when an example says a trope is \\\"played with\\\" without stating which form of PlayingWithATrope it actually is; it comes off as WordCruft and tends to sound like {{shoehorning}}.\\\'\\\'\\\'

\\\'\\\'\\\'Haven\\\'t played that game, but this doesn\\\'t really sound like {{Card Carrying Villain}}y to me. A CCV is a villain that specifically refers to themselves as such; they aren\\\'t just evil, they are self-proclaimed evil. That\\\'s what the example context should be describing, not this unnecessary digression that doesn\\\'t really go anywhere.\\\'\\\'\\\'
