You\\\'re also missing the point about {{Justifying Edit}}s; it\\\'s not \\\'\\\'just\\\'\\\' cluttering the main page with \\\"to be fair\\\"s and \\\"actually\\\"s (though that\\\'s certainly a problem.) It\\\'s the weak justifications and faulty logic inherent in making the edit in the first place, which you have repeatedly exhibited.

You don\\\'t seem to get it: every excuse you make for Mai is, in fact, another example of how InformedAbility worms its way into a character in the first place. The whole point is that they are presented as a competent character in this area, but the writing mandates that they never show it. That\\\'s the key phrase: \\\'\\\'the writing mandates it\\\'\\\'. They can \\\'\\\'seem\\\'\\\' to be the best there is in their field, yet you will never see them get any results. Mai is presented as a skilled duelist, but has \\\'\\\'lost all of her onscreen duels\\\'\\\'. It doesn\\\'t matter that it\\\'s due to facing a skilled opponent, unfortunate coincidences, rampant cheating, or any other extenuating circumstances. That\\\'s all part of the trope.
