The excuse for removing this is that the Empire had orbital superiority and had set up a blockade, something that\'s explicitly stated NOT to be true, as the Star Destroyers are detected by the Rebels much too early for that. Even if true it would be highly unlikely that there isn\'t at least ONE direction in the vastness of space more viable then going straight at the Star Destroyers.
