We've already told you to stop readding entries that others have contested and disproven. Hiding them isn't compromise, it's Edit Warring. Please stop.

I still believe it was not a smart move (I mean, couldn't they just try to take over a communications tower or something, or try to get word out that Palpatine was a Sith Lord, thus making him lose support?). But, it will be hidden for now.

I seriously question the canonicity of any of the Batlefronts, especially in regards to sending extremely slow and poorly-maneuverable bombers all the way down to the moon.

But even so, it was still not a good idea to just do it outdoors.

Neither of the Jedi have any reason to believe that someone wants Zam dead.

Commenting this one out for now. The Imperial Fleet is directly over the Rebel base, so they'd easily be able to see any ships lifting off. Being in orbit already, they'd already have an acceleration advantage over any ships lifting off from the surface; anything in orbit is already moving as some really, really impressive velocities to begin with, while anything lifting from within a gravity well is going to have to fight the gravity to accelerate to escape velocity. Coupled togethe,r it means any ship lifting and flying away from the Star Destroyers would get intercepted. Finally, the route through the Star Destroyers is covered by the planetary ion cannon, making it the safest route available.
