It seems like the Night Elf characters, even their entire faction, suffered serious CharacterDerailment as World of Warcraft progressed. Being immortal, along with the Draenei, they would have the most combat experience and could be among the best warriors, yet this is not addressed or depicted in the game, and they seem to have become the ChewToy faction. As for their characters, Tyrande\'s skill as a tactician (successfully leading their military for thousands of years, and her more reasonable tendencies) and reasonable traits all but disappear by Mists of Pandaria, Furion pretty much usurps leadership away from instead of sharing it like they did in Warcraft 3, and Shandris, Tyrande\'s second in command and adopted daughter, is pretty much PutOnABus. Why was this done? New writers? Character development taken in a negative direction or, as I suspect, [[MostWritersAreHuman Blizzard]] [[CharacterShilling trying to shill]] [[HumansAreSpecial Varian and Stormwind]].

The edit was made because the current page reads like an introductory wikia entry or an entire wikipedia page, and consists of several one-sentence paragraphs. On TV Tropes, the closest you would find to this page is, for example, Videogame.MetroidPrime, which covers an entire trilogy and hundreds of tropes -- less so a small game with only a dozen or so examples.

On TV Tropes, the closest you would find to this page is, for example, Videogame.MetroidPrime, which covers an entire trilogy and hundreds of tropes -- finding the same on a small game page with only a dozen or so examples doesn\\\'t really work.
