\\\"The song lyrics that were the image caption for a long time were removed for the reason that the \\\'\\\'song\\\'\\\' (not just the lyrics used) was \\\"unrelated to the film itself\\\". There\\\'s also already a quote page for this article, so there\\\'s really no reason to have the quote as the image caption (it doesn\\\'t even fit the image any better than the song lyrics).\\\"

If we talk more via edit comment it\\\'s going to get a bit edit warrish; the song quote used with the page image, \\\"With a purposeful grimace and a terrible sound...\\\" is a non sequitur specifically in conjunction with that image- no grimacing nor sign of roaring can be seen (as stated, and not just because it was from a song, not the movie). Thus a quote from the film itself, \\\"We knew the world would not be the same... A few people cried - most people were silent,\\\" for an image showing a devastated city seems more appropriate. The duration for which it was the image caption isn\\\'t relevant, especially since the image has changed several times- and if one was put up of Godzilla roaring, it might make sense again, but right now it does not. Not sure what the quote page has to do with what\\\'s on the main page- nothing I\\\'ve seen on the wiki indicates that presence on the quote page precludes something from being used on the main page.
