No, I saw what went down, and it didn\'t seem to me like \"an entire thread\'s worth of people\" voted him down. More like \'\'one person\'\' said he wasn\'t one and wrote off all arguments as \"whining from an immature fanbase that doesn\'t know true monstrous evil when they see it.\" Really, I think what it all came down to was that Ghetsis was cut from CM because a few people didn\'t want him to be a CM.

I still consider Ghetsis\' removal from the trope to be MyGreatestFailure. Were I to only do it over, I\'d make better points and propose an entry like this:

* CompleteMonster:: [[SinisterMinister Ghetsis Harmonia]] is the leader of [[AnimalWrongsGroup Team Plasma]] who is [[BigBad responsible for all the evil committed by the team.]] [[BitchInSheepsClothing Appearing to be]] [[FauxAffablyEvil a courteous and well meaning individual]] who seeks to liberate Pokemon from trainers, [[NotSoWellIntentionedExtremist he is in truth]] a [[{{Sadist}} sadistic]], [[ItsAllAboutMe self serving]], [[{{Narcissist}} narcissistic]] [[TheSociopath sociopath]] who seeks to disarm all trainers and exploit the power Pokemon possess so that he can [[TakeOverTheWorld become ruler of the world]], with him and his Team Plasma as the only ones able to use Pokemon. To accomplish this, he [[AbusiveParents raised his adopted son N in an isolated environment]] and groomed him to be TheHero of legend by conditioning his mind with a false view of the reality of humans and Pokemon, making him believe his Pokemon friends needed to be freed from the captivity of trainers, but Ghetsis [[ILied actually planned to enslave all Pokemon for himself]]. When his plans to get all of Unova\'s Pokemon released fail, Ghetsis [[IHaveNoSon coldly disowns N]], [[KickTheDog calling him a warped, defective \"freak without a human heart\"]], and threatens to kill the PlayerCharacter for knowing the truth of his ambitions. Two years later, Ghetsis captures the legendary Kyruem and has it [[ColdBloodedTorture tortured]] inside a power amplifying and extracting device so he can use it\'s freezing power as a [[WeaponOfMassDestruction destructive]] FreezeRay [[InferredHolocaust to devastate half of Unova, including a populated Opelucid City, endangering countless lives.]] Ghetsis attempts to raise Kyurem\'s power to maximum so he could [[KillItWithIce put the entire continent on ice]] in order to extort total control from it\'s leaders, and when the KidHero tries to stop him, he [[WouldHurtAChild orders Kyurem to attack them directly while they\'re defenseless in order to freeze them solid.]] When N intervenes, Ghetsis uses the DNA Splicers to [[BodyHorror force Kyurem into a fusion]] with N\'s legendary Dragon Pokemon. After Ghetsis is defeated a second time, N offers his father a chance to repent, but Ghetsis [[RedemptionRejection turns it down]] by verbally tearing N down some more. In \'\'Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon\'\', a Ghetsis from an AlternateReality is made to join [[LegionOfDoom Team Rainbow Rocket]], but he soon desires to [[TheStarscream use Giovanni as a pawn]] so that he can gain power over all worlds in all realities, making him [[AGodAmI supreme rule over all of existence.]] [[SoreLoser Refusing to accept defeat when he\'s beaten in battle]], Ghetsis backhands Lillie and [[DirtyCoward threatens to murder her by his own hand if the Player Character doesn\'t drop their Poke\' balls and surrender to him.]] Shamelessly admitting to loving watching people [[DespairEventHorizon lose all hope]] and repeatedly [[LackOfEmpathy treating others as merely tools for his use]], Ghetsis proved himself a dangerous and thoroughly wicked individual who saw no lines he couldn\'t cross on his path to global domination.

And no, I highly doubt it\'d be mocked by having the franchise\'s definitive CompleteMonster as an entry on CompleteMonster.

* The true leader of Team Plasma and BigBad, Ghetsis Harmonia, is the kind of person who would and did take in an orphan child found in the woods, [[AbusiveParents treat him with neglect, emotional manipulation, and mental abuse]], and permit him to be raised alongside Pokemon that he had his mooks abuse in order to give the child a false impression on humans and their relationships with Pokemon, all so the child could be a pawn in his plan to TakeOverTheWorld. A power-hungry, narcissistic sociopath with a knack for exploiting others, Ghetsis\\\' selfish scheming is at the heart of every deplorable action taken by Team Plasma and everything wrong that occurs in the games. Though [[BitchInSheepsClothing hiding beneath a mask of]] [[WellIntentionedExtremist benevolence and good intentions]], he really [[ItsAllAboutMe cares for nothing but himself.]] The crux of his plan is that if his \\\"son\\\" N could become the Hero of legend and force everyone in the world to release their Pokemon, Ghetsis would then be left as the only one who could use Pokemon as means of oppressing and enslaving everyone alive. He [[ManipulativeBastard uses his pawns, his foster son included, as stepping stones in his rise to power]], [[JerkAss is cruel and abusive to humans and Pokemon alike]], and is also [[TheSociopath an unapologetic sadist who admits to loving taking away hopes and dreams]] just so he can see people [[DespairEventHorizon in the moment where they lose all hope and break down in despair.]] And he has the audacity to call N a \\\"freak without a human heart\\\", even though his plan hinged on him being just that. In the sequel, he tortures a legendary Pokemon in order to make it comply with terrorizing the entire Unova region, endangering many lives with a fatal freeze in order to extort power and control from the fearful, suffering masses, and then [[WouldHurtAChild he attempts to]] have said Pokemon freeze the KidHero to death - the first time anyone in a Pokemon game has ordered a direct attack on the player character [[DangerouslyGenreSavvy without even a proper battle preceding it.]] And just to prove there is not a shred of decency in him, the man [[RedemptionRejection shuts down a chance at redemption]] even when it\\\'s offered to him by his \\\"son\\\", despite all that he\\\'d done to him his whole life. So in the end, everyone, including his own followers who regret working for him, comes to see Ghetsis as rotten to the core.

And no, I highly doubt it\\\'d be mocked by having the franchise\\\'s definitive CompleteMonster as an entry on CompleteMonster.
