How is the \\\"Inner Hollow\\\" pulling a Transformation of the Possessed/Split Personality Takeover if Ichigo\\\'s full Hollow form doesn\\\'t have a distinct personality, let alone that of the \\\"Inner Hollow\\\"?

Hollowfication is defined as the destruction/corruption of a soul\\\'s personality and heart, either by natural process or injecting a soul with a \\\"Hollowfication virus\\\". It is NOT another entity/personality \\\"taking over\\\". In other words, it\\\'s Ichigo losing control of himself, hence why I used The Corruption/Viral Transformation trope. The transformations happen because Ichigo inherited a prototype Hollowfication virus from Masaki. This was confirmed in Chapter 541.

Also, it\\\'s been shown in the series that Hollows can turn other souls into Hollows by eating them or infecting them with their power.

The \\\"inner Hollow\\\" is a visual medium for the audience to seen what\\\'s going on in Ichigo\\\'s head/give a clue to Ichigo\\\'s inner evil, as opposed to Kubo writing pages and pages of introspection. He doesn\\\'t actually exist as an extra personality/person. Ichigo finally realized this in Chapter 542; he used to think the old man and \\\"inner hollow\\\" were separate entities to rely on for power; that\\\'s not the case. They are \\\'\\\'subconscious avatars\\\'\\\' of his power which can take physical form by an Asauchi.

To put it in simpler terms; the \\\"inner Hollow\\\" is that little voice in your head you hear whenever you\\\'re angry/stressed/indulgent, ect. It\\\'s just that for the sake of the story Kubo personified that \\\"little voice\\\" as a monochrome Ichigo. He\\\'s also what Jungian psychology calls \\\"the Shadow\\\": a mental manifestation of everything you deny, fear, and hate; your \\\"inner evil\\\" so to speak. Which is exactly what the \\\"inner Hollow\\\" is.

A more accurate comparison for the whole Ichigo/Inner Hollow ordeal would be a cross between malignant cancer and schizophrenia instead of DID/MPD.
