*** Shortlived TV series \\\'\\\'The Charmings\\\'\\\' also played with it, having the Prince\\\'s ex \\\"Cindy\\\" show up and make Snow jealous.
\\\'\\\'\\\'Unrelated to the trope.\\\'\\\'\\\'

** Similarly, Baloo from Disney\\\'s \\\'\\\'Disney/TheJungleBook\\\'\\\' and Little John from Disney\\\'s \\\'\\\'Disney/RobinHood\\\'\\\' look quite similar, and are [[ActorAllusion both voiced by Phil Harris]].
\\\'\\\'\\\'I don\\\'t remember Robin Hood well, but \\\"quite similar\\\" isn\\\'t much of a reason. If I\\\'m wrong, someone who is more specific will add a better version.\\\'\\\'\\\'

*** There is, in fact, [[RealLifeWritesThePlot a reason for this]]. Disney was in the financial hole at the time \\\'\\\'Disney/RobinHood\\\'\\\' was made and a number of scenes in the film (for example, the dancing in Sherwood Forest and Kaa\\\'s/ Sir Hiss\\\'s hypnotizing of Prince John) were actually trace-overs from cels in older films such as \\\'\\\'Disney/SnowWhite\\\'\\\', \\\'\\\'Disney/TheJungleBook\\\'\\\' and \\\'\\\'Disney/TheAristocats\\\'\\\'. Fortunately \\\'\\\'Disney/RobinHood\\\'\\\' did well and Disney was able to carry on.
\\\'\\\'\\\'Makes sense. But from a storytelling perspective, is he an expy?\\\'\\\'\\\'

**** -as indeed Maid Marian dancing was a rotoscope of Snow White.
\\\'\\\'\\\'Does not tell if she is an expy.\\\'\\\'\\\'

*** The characters Ace \\\"Chicken Little\\\" Cluck and Abby Mallard from \\\'\\\'Disney/ChickenLittle\\\'\\\' look an awful lot like the characters Honker Muddlefoot and Gosalyn Mallard from the show \\\'\\\'DarkwingDuck\\\'\\\', respectively (the latter even has the same last name!).
\\\'\\\'\\\'Those characters look NOTHING like Honker and Gosalyn, and Mallard happens to be a real word which makes sense to be used in a duck name. Ace looks a \\\'\\\'little\\\'\\\' like Honker, but I cannot think of a single similarity between Gosalyn and Abby other than \\\"duck\\\". [[SarcasmMode Which makes them all Expies of Donald.]] But seriously, Google Image Abby Mallard then Gosalyn Waddlemeyer.\\\'\\\'\\\'

*** Aversion, \\\'\\\'Beauty and the Beast\\\'\\\': the designs for Belle and the human version of the Beast were most decidedly \\\'\\\'not\\\'\\\' Expies of any other Disney characters.
\\\'\\\'\\\'Aversions aren\\\'t notable as this isn\\\'t a universal trope.\\\'\\\'\\\'

*** The human cast of \\\'\\\'Disney/{{Tarzan}}\\\'\\\' all appear to be expies of the human cast of \\\'\\\'Disney/BeautyAndTheBeast\\\'\\\'. Compare Tarzan with the Beast, Jane Porter with Belle, Professor Archimedes Porter with Maurice, and [[BrianBlessed Clayton]] with Gaston.
\\\'\\\'\\\'I\\\'m comparing them, and finding no indication that Disney intentionally reused them. Clayton, being an expy of Gaston?\\\'\\\'\\\'

* [[spoiler: The incinerator]] at the end of [[WesternAnimation/ToyStory \\\'\\\'Toy Story 3\\\'\\\']] is actually an Expy of the Car Crusher at the end of \\\'\\\'TheBraveLittleToaster\\\'\\\'.
\\\'\\\'\\\'That would be drawing inspiration from an older plot. I don\\\'t think you can have expies of plot devices.\\\'\\\'\\\'

** Another Pixar example would be the fact that Chick Hicks and [[spoiler: Miles Axlerod]], the villains of the \\\'\\\'{{Cars}}\\\'\\\' series films, are actually car versions of Randall Boggs and [[spoiler: Waternoose]], the villains of \\\'\\\'WesternAnimation/MonstersInc\\\'\\\', respectively.
\\\'\\\'\\\'Having a few character traits in comming is not this trope. Chick Hicks is hardly a car version of Randall.\\\'\\\'\\\'
