I don\'t see how it was \'that\'s what gay people do\', because Ridcully\'s reaction doesn\'t change much between his assumption that Macarona seduced the wife and his learning that he seduced the husband (and, as I recall, Macarona\'s not \'\'gay\'\', since the same section mentions his liaisons with women).
