As regards the original topic, if Langxue, an experienced yaoren with multiple previous lives in the role, says that an Avatar who can come out of it without a spirit animal is tough, then I\'m inclined to believe it. Especially considering what Aang\'s been through.

\\\'\\\'I can\\\'t figure out why Aang would be mad at Toph for healing him...\\\'\\\' Maybe not so much angry as disturbed? We\\\'ve seen that Aang latches onto teachers, and the people at the North Pole qualified in every sense of the term, as did Jeong Jeong. And all of \\\'\\\'them\\\'\\\' said clearly that water was the only healing element. And it\\\'s possible, even probable, that Aang\\\'s smart enough to make the immediate, if subconscious, conclusion that \\\'Earth heals, fire heals, water heals...and I\\\'ve never seen any air healers. \\\'\\\'Why not\\\'\\\'?\\\'
