The statement that the arms cannot be used to get extra attacks is a misreading: the arms can be used to hold and use manufactured weapon, the statement that this referred to only meant that if the base creature has claw natural weapons, the template doesn\'t give them four extra claw attacks; \'\'not\'\' that the four arms are totally useless. Although, you \'\'do\'\' need to take feats to use those extra limbs at their full potential.
