Was there any sign of Jared having a crush on the Warden besides his one dream in \\\"The Dream Machine\\\"? Lots of people have dreams about making out with or having sex with people there are not remotely attracted to
in real life. I thought the scene just reflected that fact, so it seems like kind of flimsy evidence for Jared secretly loving the Warden. I always thought Jared\\\'s persistent loyalty was simply due to 1) intimidation (especially since he\\\'s a former prisoner and could get thrown back into a cell) and 2) optimistic faith in the Warden\\\'s good side. Has Word Of God said anything for certain on this?
After spending so much time on the Warden\\\'s feelings for Alice and putting such good thought and character detail into the subplots with Jean & Paul, you\\\'d think they\\\'d go into more detail and make it clearer if Jared had a full crush on the Warden.
*Considering it, I suppose Jared\\\'s desperation to revive the Warden in the Ghosts episode pretty strongly points to a man-crush. Maybe it\\\'ll be defined more clearly in Season 3, but it could be the concept is meant entirely for those one-off gags.

IMO, this show did a good job writing for the gay characters and incorporating their sexuality into their personalities in a more mature fashion than you see in a lot of shows (which is impressive for a show that has such bloodfest humor), so you\\\'d think they\\\'d go into more detail and make it clearer if Jared had a full crush on the Warden.
