Question: does the DomesticAbuse trope apply in a scenario where everything pretty much fits the clinical description of the disorder but is never named in canon? Namely, a VitriolicBestBuds pair who meet all the criteria for abuse \'\'except\'\' the romantic part, and even this is [[HoYay debatable.]] Even though they\'re [[YourMileageMayVary \'only friends\']], one still routinely beats and degrades the other, to the point that if one of them were female the cops would\'ve been called a long time ago. Does this still count, despite the lack of the romance element?

Might as well start a Shoutout page too, considering the ever increasing length of it.

Edit, March 27: Went ahead and moved all subjectives (including Crowners) to YMMV since it\\\'s been more than a week without response.
