Please read ObviousBeta trope before add it. According to development stages chart in that trope, SRWJ is, at worst, in \\\'\\\'\\\'Late Beta\\\'\\\'\\\', the fourth development stage (though comparing to the trope\\\'s racing game example, I say it\\\'s in \\\'\\\'\\\'Gamma/Public Beta/Release Candidate\\\'\\\'\\\', the fifth stage). The trope, however, note that \\\"Naturally, the Obvious Beta skips the fourth and/or fifth stages to go straight to release.\\\" So...this doesn\\\'t count.

BTW, I just remember bit of info that got slipped from my memory. SRW64 isn\\\'t good example for has \\\"battle data for units that don\\\'t actually have a role in gameplay\\\". Unlike other games, 64 can link to \\\'\\\'Link Battlers\\\'\\\' which allow player to unlock mech and pilots that aren\\\'t recuitable in-game. So it\\\'s natural that it will has data for units that aren\\\'t suppose to be playable (because they really are).
