A lot of these aren't really examples of this trope, just examples of 'emo kids.' The trope is about evil teens, not depressed ones. This really needs to be cleaned up.

And does this really count if the heroes of the show are also teenagers?

True. A lot of TV Tropes need to be cleaned up. Some of them are too similar to eachother and need to be erased.

Since we can't put Real Life example anymore, what's the point for no personal example?

Ask any high school or middle school teacher if this is Truth in Television.

Seems like you got the link wrong; it's Teens Are Monsters.

And another thing, the evidence regarding the prefrontal cortex is starting to be regarded as suspect. As an anthropology major I know that the majority of civilizations throughout history didn't and don't separate the teen years from the adult years, and as a result those problems are confined to the people who had emotional problems to begin with.

Also, we debunked raging hormones years ago. We can't find any correlation between "teen problems" and hormones.

The whole thing is environmental.

Why isn't this indexed under 'Unfortunate Implications'?

This article may need a bit of a clean up. There seems to be a lot of examples where the character's age isn't the reason why they're evil.
