Shere Khan seems to fit TokenMotivationalNemesis more. Having him as a BigBad looks to be little more than adaptations expanding his role and there is absolutely no textual evidence of him being the main antagonist.

As there is no evidence, I object to the restoration to your edits as TV Tropes should be accurate with its articles rather than inaccurate.

I\\\'m tempted to add \\\"NamedByTheAdaptation\\\" since the appliances didn\\\'t have actual names in the book, and were just referred to as [[RaceNameBasis \\\"the toaster\\\", \\\"the lamp\\\", \\\"the blanket\\\"]], etc. And YouDontLookLikeYou since their designs in the film are significantly different from the illustrations in the book. Also, I was going to say that the new appliances aren\\\'t exactly \\\"villainous\\\" until I remembered that the lamp kicks them out of the window and into the dumpster, which is just malicious! A literal KickTheDog moment.
