Gotcha. I figured that the KarmaHoudiniWarranty trope would have been more suitable for Jacques\' arrest anyway. There was also the fact that early on in the volume, Jacques was confident that Whitley would arrange for his legal team to bail him out so he could get off scot-free, but Whitley didn\'t even consider freeing his father. Weiss and Winter were going to help him escape Atlas so they can move him to a safer prison along with Ironwood, but we won\'t get to see it now due to Ironwood\'s murder.

Anyway, while KickTheSonOfABitch trope doesn\'t apply to Ironwood murdering Jacques as well, do you think this would fit better under the PayEvilUntoEvil trope since Ironwood did a cruel thing (in this case, cold-blooded murder) to a cruel person (Jacques, who was a corrupt executive), or would a different trope apply here?

Anyway, do you think Jacques\' fate would fit better under the PayEvilUntoEvil trope since Ironwood did a cruel thing (in this case, murder) to a cruel person (Jacques), or would a different trope apply here?
