Since page is locked, I figured I\'d mention an example of this trope here for when it gets unlocked. Roshar in the Stormlight Archive by Brandon Sanderson has a lake called the purelake that is the size of an inland sea. It is however only about 6 feet deep at maximum with no waves and people live in the water.
