First combat is huge. Red Celica, despite having insane killing potential after turn 1, is pretty much never regarded as among the best because of this. L! Celica hitting res compared to Alm is nice, but it kind of just makes up for units generally having higher def than res. If Alm were any colored bow, I think his placement on this list would be very questionable tbh. It would make him consistently tankable.

First combat is the most important combat. It\'s probably *most* of what makes a unit good or not. Red mage Celica, despite having insane killing potential after turn 1, is pretty much never regarded as among the best because of this. Hitting res is nice in of itself, but it kind of just makes up for units generally having higher def than res compared to Alm. If Alm were a colored bow, I think his placement on this list would be very questionable tbh. It would make him very easy to tank and kill on the counter by a ton of units, and this already happens despite being colorless.
