You know, i actually wonder if Edelgard really was plotting kill Dimitri or Claude from the start, as it\'s stated, she\'s really more focused on Rhea than Dimitri or Claude, she never cites killing them as a priority even when attacking the Monastery on every route, she never orders the Death Knight or Hubert to kill them at the school phase, even her actions in the prologue, chasing after Claude is inconsistent with the idea of wanting to kill him
