Seriously... perhaps HaveAGayOldTime applies, maybe it\\\'s a British slang term that doesn\\\'t travel well, but \\\"poofy\\\" is a term for \\\"in the manner of a camp gay person\\\", at least in Britain. \\\"Giant poofy sleeves\\\" could be read as \\\"quirk of gay male fashion\\\", with the word \\\"poof\\\" being a low-level abuse term for \\\"gay man\\\". Hence, without spelling it out and hoping others might have seen it, I used \\\"unfortunate\\\" to describe the title.
