I'unno, 'lesser of two evils' would be a pretty accurate description. Note that while he personally tears into Trump, he blames both of them for the level of the political debate hitting an all-time low. And even without that, the tidbit about Lincoln being a third party candidate, IF TRUE (don't have time to check it right now), means the comment makes a valid point about whether Lincoln would prefer a, ahem, better candidate out of the two. Then again, reportedly the third party candidates aren't that good themselves...
