First of all, the invisible monster in A Machine for Pigs is NOT the Kaernk/water monster from Dark Descent. They are called \"Failed Experiments\", here\'s a quote from the Amnesia wiki:
\"The Failed Experiments are the earlier versions of the Tesla. These versions have become overheated and, as a result, their vitae has splintered, causing them to be invisible to the naked eye.\"
The Kaernk did NOT produce electricity, while the Failed Experiments do (Tesla basically says everything).

Lastly, there were no manpigs in Dark Descent. They were introduced in A Machine for Pigs and there are four different types of them, the Tesla, the Wretch, the Engineer and the Failed Experiments.
