I must say, I am LOVING Dragon Ball Super so far! It's delivering on all of my wildest dreams that ''DragonBallZ'' never fulfilled; high-tier feats, Gohan rising to prominence again, and interesting and engrossing storylines that we haven't seen since the end of the Cell Saga! Nevertheless, I find it truly dismaying to see so many people on this site lashing out at one of my most beloved characters, Vados, by condemning everything she does and even going so far as to speculate that she will be the secret final villain. This, to me, seems like a knee-jerk sexist reaction to a truly strong female and useful character because she does nothing that is more aggressive and cruel than anything Beerus has done, and yet he's hailed in a glowing, admiring manner, while Vados is denigrated, maligned, and attacked. Why? If you're going to condemn her for destroying a planet on her master's orders or starting a fight between the Gods of Destruction for amusement, then hold true to that standard for Beerus destroying planets for fun and terrifying the inhabitants, please! Why is that it's somehow the female deity that is being singled out for all this vitriol when Beerus does arguably worse stuff, yet he gets a free pass on it? Nevertheless, Super is a quality series so far and I find myself hoping it comes to America soon! I do hope, however, that FUNimation will not the one to dub it, though I wouldn't find it a tragedy if they did.
