Omg thank you Jormis! XOXO
It used to run on the Israeli kids' channel. I thought it was called "Astounding Tales" or something like that, but i can't find anything by such a name. There was a hostess: a girl of about 12, dressed in a 50ies type men's suit, iirc. Her office had typewriters, maybe projectors, and the opening sequence also featured a typewriter. There was an operator, who was never seen. He may or may not have been heard. His name may or may not have been Max. The hostess would introduce each story, tell us which viewer submitted it, and then order the operator to roll the reel. I don't remember much about the enactments themselves, but they tended towards the horror-mystery-suspence genres, somewhere between Goosebumps and Tales of the Unexpected.
