Could it be a scene from Gossip Girls? Someone gets pushed into a fountain in an episode.
That wasn't it because it was in the 2000s. However if it is, which episode would you be referring to?
It's season 4 episode 1. I double checked it and it's just two girls arguing not three and the push is on purpose. It's at 22:40 if you're curious. http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x3j6vxx
I do want to add that the woman pushed in the fountain was dressed in blue, and was questioned by another guy the next morning.
It wouldn't fit, but this also happened in an episode of Leave it to Beaver.
Just out of curiosity, do you know what episode it was in?
"The All Night Party". I didn't actually see the scene in question, though.
Bump. Is there anyone who can help me with this?
Is it Cybill? This forum post mentions a similar incident. http://www.sitcomsonline.com/boards/archive/index.php/t-23413.html The episode was "Wedding Bell Blues", according to Wikipedia. There would definitely have been 3 women present, though I assume Morgan Fairchild would be wearing a white dress.
Edited by jgrif57003Bump. Just wanted to make sure the OP didn't give up.
That's not it unfortunately. I know for a fact that the woman who fell in the water fountain was wearing blue (suit or dress), including a blue hat that is similar to maybe a shower cap or a bonnet.
I seriously do not want this to be one of my life's unsolvable problems. Can someone help me please?
Maybe it wasn't a sitcom?
Originally I thought it was a sitcom, but I don't know if it was or not.
Is it the original 90210?
What makes you think it was 90210? Edit: Also, in the previous posting of this, Eastopatra gave extra details about the sitcom that the OP incorporated in. Those details did not include the blue dress, but included the two women and the courtyard, so maybe Eastopatra watched the episode of Cybill and mistakenly thought it was the same. This also could mean that the push actually was accidental because the OP originally thought it was an accident.
Edited by jgrif57003But I do remember that the same woman did wear a blue dress in the next scene though, as in after the commercial break.
There was definitely a blue dress in the show you watched, but maybe Eastopatra watched Cybill and gave you information from that? (You did not mention the two friends in your first post) .That's what I was implying. The main headache with this theory is that it gets rid of many of the details that you added on.
And the woman, who was dressed in blue, was being questioned by a guy in that next scene.
I also remember now that the fountain was inside the building and not outside.
It doesn't seem like people falling into fountains is that uncommon in TV shows, so this will be hard.
Sounds like Laverne and Shirley.
Do you remember what scene it was from that show?
Could it be from and episode of Melrose Place?
Which one exactly?
Alexis and Krystal from D Ynasty? Its a pretty famous scene that could have leaked into your memory. https://youtu.be/PfVYaK7VFOY?t=1m50s
Bump. I think the woman in blue was an older woman, and I still believe it was an old TV show back in the 70s or 80s.
Since my old post has over 50 replies, I decided to make them two different posts hoping that it will be easier.
An American sitcom (sometime between the 1960s and 1990s) with one episode involving two friends (both female) at a party with a snobby woman (I assume she's wearing blue) and then they 'accidentally' push the snobby woman into the fountain (which was in a courtyard in the middle of a house, so it was a patio type area), it was at nighttime but really bright as if lit by moonlight as well as the lights of the house. Does anyone know what the show is? And if so, what episode was I referring to?
This has been bugging me for the majority of my life and I have yet to find more information about it. PLEASE HELP ME!
