What you're looking for is Generator Rex, the second work of Man Action, the creators of Ben 10, it's one of the best originals of CN in recent years.
I used to watch when I was little. It was about a boy with black short hair who had these robot cell things in his blood that would allow his arm to change into stuff. His sidekick was a talking monkey who would shoot guns and he had a secret agent man watch over him. They would fight bug like monsters while he would search for his father.
