I noticed this issue on the mobile site, but not on the desktop site.
The other part of the issue is that you can't tap on spoilered text on mobile either.

~Angeldeb82 Try clearing your cache and closing/reopening your browser. If it still doesn't work then list if you're using desktop or mobile and what browser specifically.

I'm using Google Chrome on the Windows 11 desktop. Funnily enough, I was able to open the folders in Incognito Mode.

Easiest way to clear a site cache on most desktop browsers, IIRC (at least still works on firefox) is ctrl+shift+r

On pages with folders, when I click on the buttons that open individual folders or the button that opens or closes them all, the folders don't open. I hope this issue gets resolved soon.
ADMIN NOTE: just clear your browser cache and it'll work.
- DESKTOP: ctrl+shift+r (if it doesn't work just google "how to clear cache" for your specific browser)
- MOBILE (IPhone): Settings > safari > advanced > website data > search TVtropes > edit (bottom of screen) > click red icon and delete
- MOBILE (Android): Settings → Site settings → tap All sites → choose your site →clear and reset
