Your mama may have had eyes in the back of her head, but our admin team just can't see everything at once. It takes a village to make sure TVTropes is running the way it should, so when it comes to spotting tech snafus, dreaming up a better digital mousetrap, or just diagnosing plain old asshattery, the quicker you let us know something's up, the quicker we can address it. It still happens.
Most likely, the Java Script that toggles the cookies is broken. Unfortunately, this is a server-side issue.
Clearing the cookies works, I guess. I suppose we'll just have to make do until the problem is solved.
Last evening, I turned on Night Mode and when I woke up this morning, I attempted to turn it off but as soon as I either reload the page or click another link, it immediately goes back to the dark background.
EDIT: Fixed the problem by clearing my browser cookies.
EDIT: Nope, it started happening again.
