That might be Crimson Cross. I know it plays for Des X but I can't remember anyone else.

Hugo (the first time the theme plays, actually) and the bipolar blue Android at the end of chapter 9. Also one of the few battle themes to get an arranged edition.

Anyway, "favorite out of pretty much NISA's history" is a tad broad, but I'd definitely put Speed Queen among the highest.

Ooooh, favorite Nippon Ichi song? That's a toughie.

Most of the music from Cladun is simply amazing, as is Sinful Rose, White Tiger, and Cyber Dance from Disgaea 2...

Although I think my vote has to go to the Unlosing Ranger's theme, for the sheer determination and willpower contained within.

Yes, that's the one.

Crimson Cross plays for just about every major chapter boss past a certain point aside from Axel (uses his own theme instead). I first noticed it when fighting Vulcanus 2, but I think you first hear it when fighting the Information Bureau Chief?

All party member bosses sans the first Emizel fight get Noble Marble, whereas French Professor Recolor gets Piano Sonata D No.4 (which doubles as the theme for Des X's second phase and the last chapter).

Oh yes, you are right. Well, both are tracks I really like, so they kinda got merged in my head. Probably because a.both tracks only play for the boss fights; when you replay the stage the "normal" battle music plays and b.there isn't a in game track list, and the Music Shop is either DLC or buried too deep in the Item World for me to ever find, so I couldn't attach a name to them and properly categorize them in my head.>_>

I should have caught that the final chapter normal battle music was the first boss theme, but again, it only plays a scarce amount of times before that. >_>

The first boss theme is Wings That Can't Fly. tongue

As for the Music Shop, I ended up checking on Gamefaqs about it after several failed attempts and heard that one person got it from delving into a Common Sword at level 20-30; turns out, I managed to get the same result through the same process. Maybe try doing that, if you want it?

When does this track play? I don't remember it at all.

I think it's actually a normal battle track. The first chapter boss (which is round one against Emizel, if I recall) uses that stage's default tune (I know, I've gone back there for whatever reason), Fuka uses her remix of Etna's theme, and the rest of the bosses use the tracks mentioned.

As mentioned. To be fair, though, the only other time it seems to play is as the default for Reverse Pirating and a few event scenes.

Then it's not a boss theme. It's a stage theme. Like I said, for that battle, the stage's default tune plays. As in, I went back there and that same tune was playing (something that doesn't happen with boss themes sadly)

Some songs from games NISA localized. From Ar Tonelico 2 Vrtra Agni and possible one of my favorite town hub songs Sky Port Girl.

[up][up]...I'm not really understanding the wording of your post.

Anyway, just went through a mental recheck and apparently it also plays for the final stage of chapter 2, which reverts back into boring old House Of Peers after it's cleared just like most other boss stages.

Oh huh.

Anywho, I always considered the Fuka fight to be the "real" boss stage of Chapter 2, and that was just sort of a story wrap up before the next one.

No just tracks from NISA that we like, a lot. Like this one. One of NISA's most epic theme's.

So I decided to start playing ZHP again. Man, I forgot how much I love NIS writing.

I'm a fan of Wings That Can't Fly for hammy drama, and Planet X just for how weird and different it is from the rest of the soundtrack. Hmm... DEAD END is pretty neat, too.

Oh hey, another non-Mirai Nikki-DEAD END fan.

And Speaking of D1's soundtrack, I'm hoping that Underworld manages to worm its way into DD2 in some form. Easily one of the more pumped-up themes in the series.

Compile n' Curry.

Since the article doesn't seem to note this, it appears to be a Roguelike judging from screenshots.

My Demon Spawn of Okawaru was Mauled to death by a Troll. Yet another death that could of been avoided.

Oh wait. Yeah Rouge likes can be fun but dying a lot can get very annoying.

Well I get the feeling it'll be a roguelike more along the lines of Zettai Hero Project than any of the more hardcore roguelikes.
