Wait, killing Eisenhow stops the mooks from spawning? If that's the case, Bryton with a halberd sounds like the best option, and I'll probably focus on doing just that. We'll see how the myrmidon's behave, and I'll handle that by ear, but if I can stop the cavalry, I can capture some myrms, recruit Shiva, and have a decent stockpile of swords to work with.
Also, I noticed the supply building in chapter 6, but is there a point when I get a supply convoy to work with? Not necessarily something during a map, but something to work with during the preparations screen (when I see one of those) or something similar?
http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/lb_i.php?lb_id=13239183440B34964700 Alfric's Fire Emblem Liveblog Encyclopedia! You don't get a supply convoy. The only way to retrieve items during a chapter is to visit the Supply building. FE 6 introduced the Supply Convoy and it wasn't until FE 8 that they had the sense to turn the lord into the convoy.
But at least you're not playing FE 1 where ou have to pay gold to use the supply building.
But yeah, SS introducing the Lord's magical infinite-space backpack was an exceedingly good move on IntSys' part.
I sure said that!Chromvoy.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique! The Lord unit having access to the supply convoy was actually implemented as far back as Mystery of the Emblem.

Enjoyment and Excitement!Y'know, I still like/respect FE 4 for it's plot.
You gotta start somewhere.I myself can't get into it because of all the weird stuff in regards to it compared to the newer FEs.
Fantastic Supreme Ãœberkaiser Emperor Folt of The Infinity and Beyond" ... "The First"!I will never not find it satisfying to have Say'ri lop Excellus's head off with Amatsu.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!I myself found it funny how leaving him alive changes literally nothing in the plot.
"Tell them to shut up and have some faith in me." - dead flashback guyHe probably either gets captured and executed, or caught and killed trying to escape after Walhart bites the big one (or, possibly goes back to Plegia and Aversa stabs him in the face).
FE: New Mystery Fresh Cart Lunatic 7PM PT Sun, Mon, Fri; Expert Unicorn Overlord 7PM PT Wed, Thurs: http://www.twitch.tv/kuroitsubasatenshiHuh, I didn't know you could leave him alive. I guess it makes sense, though, since it's a "Defeat the enemy commander" mission.
If I had to guess, he lays down his arms with the rest of the Valmese soldiers and is imprisoned.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique! Two weird questions about Awakening:
- I read there is a local play feature, but google doesn't elaborate much on it and finds me more stuff about Fates despite the fact that I searched for Awakening. Please elaborate on what the local multiplayer is.
- Is the L button essential? Mines busted and never works, so this would be nice to know.
Local multiplayer is the Double Duel. It's basically just a bunch of menuing with each player choosing 3 characters, each with a single weapon. They alternate running lead and support in order to beat a gauntlet of up to 6 enemies (there are several themed teams of enemies). The players win if all the enemies are down. They lose if all 3 characters of one player get downed. Characters revive with 1 HP after the players kill an enemy. Rather than being boosted by supports, Dual Strike/Guard rates are increased by doing well in rounds. It's super bare bones and fun enough for one playthrough, but I don't think I'd care to do it again.
The L button is used to cycle through units, so it's not really necessary. Not having it might be an annoyance, but you can complete the game without it.
FE: New Mystery Fresh Cart Lunatic 7PM PT Sun, Mon, Fri; Expert Unicorn Overlord 7PM PT Wed, Thurs: http://www.twitch.tv/kuroitsubasatenshiI see. And the stuff with item trades and unit recruits are done with Street Pass instead?
Okay, seeing how the game has 3 save game slots and the local play being "meh" it looks like I'm buying this one on a cart and share it with my spouse.
Yeah, but it's also not true trading. The StreetPassing just generates a unit on the map for the other player's team. If you fight them, they're AI-controlled. Only the player's Robin can be recruited (whether through force or paying gold), but most gear that all members of that player's StreetPass team (I think it's something like Robin plus 7 selected units) can be purchased. This includes stat boosters, seals and forged weapons. Anything you do to said team will not affect the other player's actual team in the slightest (therefore, why it's not true trade).
FE: New Mystery Fresh Cart Lunatic 7PM PT Sun, Mon, Fri; Expert Unicorn Overlord 7PM PT Wed, Thurs: http://www.twitch.tv/kuroitsubasatenshiSo I'm back on Awakenings again. Just got Sumia and Frederick to A support. My Avatar and Kellam are also at A. Those are the only two Characters where I can remember who I was pairing with who. I have no idea who I'm putting Chrom with(maybe Olivia).
It's been too long.
One Strip! One Strip! If you're far enough to have A supports and Chrom doesn't already have a C with any of the other bachelorettes, I agree that it looks like you were gunning for Chrom/Olivia.
FE: New Mystery Fresh Cart Lunatic 7PM PT Sun, Mon, Fri; Expert Unicorn Overlord 7PM PT Wed, Thurs: http://www.twitch.tv/kuroitsubasatenshiIf anyone is stalking me on Miiverse, you probably already know that I purchased Shadow Dragon on Wii U Virtual Console.
I'm enjoying it so far. Also abusing the first arena I found for EXP and gold.
And whoa, this free form reclassing is neat. Though some characters seem better not touching some classes, atleast initially. But I bet level-up gains get affected by class... But I'll leave the munchkin optimising for hard mode.
And what is this limit on units?! Only one mage/sage/bishop/dark mage allowed??? But four cavaliers is ok?
On reclassing in Shadow Dragon:
- Classes are grouped into three sets:
- Class Set A (Cavalier/Paladin, Archer/Sniper, Myrmidon/Swordmaster, Mage/Sage, Curate/Bishop, Dracoknight)
- Class Set B (Knight/General, Mercenary/Hero, Fighter/Warrior, Pirate/Berserker, Hunter/Horseman, Dark Mage/Sorcerer)
- Female Set (Pegasus Knight/Dracoknight, Archer/Sniper, Myrmidon/Swordmaster, Mage/Sage, Cleric/Bishop, Falcoknight)
- Characters can only reclass to the classes in their set, with their starting class determining what class set they're in.
- The amount of one class your characters can be reclassed in at any time is the number of characters with that same class you could have recruited so far + 1. This includes characters from any side chapters as well as alternate characters.
- Note that if you're playing on Hard mode, you don't get an extra Cavalier or Archer slot (due to Frey and Norne only appearing in Normal mode).
- You don't get any extra slots for replacement characters.
- Stat changes from reclassing is equal to the base stats of the new class minus the base stats of the original class. A character's total growth rates are dependent on their class growth rates + personal growth rates.
- Same rule for stat changes also apply for Weapon Ranks (any gained Weapon EXP is not lost though).
I'm glad you are enjoying Shadow Dragon so far; it's my favorite game in the series and it could use a bit more appreciation

Enjoyment and Excitement!Well I already noticed that units are locked to "class sets" and promtions don't seem to be a thing.
And I was half guessing that progressing through the game would increase my "class limits" or whatever it should be called.
For hard mode, I'll probably snoop through a wiki for growth rates.
Oh and Marth is surprisingly sturdy! Though my first experience with "Lords" was Eirika and her "above average evasion but squishy as fuck" probably painted a bad image for the class for me.

Promotion is a thing. Just be patient.
As you play more games, you'll come to see that all the Lords, collectively, are just all over the place. Chrom, Eliwood and Path of Radiance Ike are kind of like Marth. Then you get Hector and Radiant Dawn Ike, who are both practically implacable men, while Micaiah is made of tissue paper.
FE: New Mystery Fresh Cart Lunatic 7PM PT Sun, Mon, Fri; Expert Unicorn Overlord 7PM PT Wed, Thurs: http://www.twitch.tv/kuroitsubasatenshi@Geist-Fox: Your first Master Seal won't show up until Chapter 10, dropped from an enemy Hero.
You can get Master Seals (or Elysian Whips for promoting to the Falcoknight class) earlier if you choose to buy them from the Online Shop. They show up on the 5th, 15th, and 25th of the month for purchase, while Elysian Whips are available on the 1st, 11th, 21st, and 31st of the month.

Enjoyment and Excitement!Online functionality works on VC? I was wondering about that.
"Tell them to shut up and have some faith in me." - dead flashback guyWait, the online shop works for the downloadable version of Shadow Dragon? This is something I hadn't even considered. Does online team battling work? That was honestly a really cool feature. Might need to get myself Shadow Dragon on the Wii U then.
http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/lb_i.php?lb_id=13239183440B34964700 Alfric's Fire Emblem Liveblog Encyclopedia!
Take Finn and Safy and move them south. Don't move your top army southwards too much. Doing this will spilt the Myrmidons. Shiva will love towards Safy and ideally, only a couple of Myrmidons will follow him. The rest will move north. The bandits don't move unless you get really close so don't worry about them.
If the boss and reinforcements are giving you trouble, you can despawn him by placing a unit on his spawn location before he shows up. The conversation with him and Raydrik will still happen but the boss will simply disappear. The initial wave will still appear (unless you despawn them the same way) bit they're no trouble. If you don't want to exploit game design oversights, kill him with Bryton and a Halberd which I believe you get from Hicks.
