Early game at least. Late game your units are strong enough that you can rush pretty easily.
Wait, how did you lose Sain already? At Raven's chapter you've only had him for one chapter, and that one isn't that tough.
Huh? When did I imply they did?
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.No, you get into enemy range but only with the unit you want to engage that enemy with. You never let one of your units get within range of an enemy unit unless you're positive that they can survive. As Otherarrow said, it's very boring to watch but it's extremely effective. I don't think that it's boring to do, though.

Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!I've lost quite a few units in Awakening and I am playing on casual mode. (hey, my prior FE experience was renting Sacred Stones and the Tellius games.)
I'm past Chapter 11, but I hear that Lucina dying doesn't trigger a game over? Or does it?
You know, I have to wonder why Pit is obsessed with this site. It’s gonna ruin his life! You don't get a game over if you lose Lucina by that point, so...
Enjoyment and Excitement!Despite Lucina being the Tritagonist of Awakening.
You know, I have to wonder why Pit is obsessed with this site. It’s gonna ruin his life!IIRC, she already did the thing by that point.

PSN ID: FateSeraph | Switch friendcode: SW-0145-8835-0610 Congratulations! She/TheyReminder that Sothe is more of a lord than Lucina. Sothe.
I mean Lucina's class is literally "Lord" so I'm not sure I agree.
"We're home, Chewie."Lucina is never forced and never causes a gameover, the two main criteria for Lords.
Up until Endgame, Sothe has both of these things for every chapter he is available in.
Her death can cause game overs, actually. Just not after she joins your group, somewhat ironically.
Also, again. Lord. Literally the class name. That is what she is. It is her entire definition as a unit.
"We're home, Chewie."Yeah, I've seen conflicting reports on Lucina's status where game overs are concerned.
I actually found Raven to be more at risk of being killed by the green units. Seeing as they're all lance wielders, it's very easy for them to build up hits, even if he kills them all on the counter attack. To save just one of them, I had to be constantly on the offensive, with Priscilla 'just' staying out of attack range. And even then, I had to put her in range of the dark mages in the room above, because there was no time to clear them out.
If everyone were normal, the world would be a dull place. Like reality television.Lucina's the only child character that is required to join your team, right?
You know, I have to wonder why Pit is obsessed with this site. It’s gonna ruin his life!Yeah.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!I still say the permadeath system is worthless if they refuse to ever actually acknowledge character deaths. It just does not make sense in a game as narratively focused as Fire Emblem.
"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."Uh... and where is this?
The only times she shows up prior to joining is C4, where taking her down is required and C6 where the enemy taking her out gets her a bit of dialogue with Chrom before she retreats. After that, she isn't available for combat again until she joins at the end of C13.
And Lucina does not cause a game over if deployed and taken out. I have killed her on purpose to make my vanilla Lunatic speedruns faster and she merely retreats.
Hmmm, I can see how they'd present a threat to him, but there's also a pretty reasonable turn buffer between when he joins the enemy and when the soldiers bust out. Even a foot unit can reach him well before the soldiers make their move if said foot unit is moving most of its movement each turn.
FE: Genealogy Story Run 7PM PT Sun, Mon, Fri; Expert Unicorn Overlord 7PM PT Wed, Thurs: http://www.twitch.tv/kuroitsubasatenshi... are you absolutely sure a foot unit could reach him? I've pushed HARD with my best units to try and get to Raven ASAP, and every time, the soldiers rush out ONE TURN before Priscilla can get Raven, meaning only one soldier survives.

If everyone were normal, the world would be a dull place. Like reality television.Rescue Stave?
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Stave can rescue themself, okay?
"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."I will end you.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!FE7. Not sure if Stave of Rescuing even exists in that game.
"Tell them to shut up and have some faith in me." - dead flashback guyReally? Huh. I was certain a game over happened if she got knocked out on Chapter 6. My bad.
"We're home, Chewie."I know and it does.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Zarek: Nope. That's just if Emm bites it.
Ekimmak: Pretty sure. When I was screwing around getting getting to Fargus to troll him, I had Hector up there, leading the charge. It may be worth noting that I completely ignored the treasure chests in the lower-left.

Be warned, turtling isn't very fun to watch, so if you are doing a playthrough for folks to see, I'd try to at least attempt to liven it up.
Also, I am reminded that back when I was into rom hacks, I noticed that a common criticism was when maps were designed so that turtling was the best, if not the only viable, option, which indeed, was super boring for both the player and the viewer.
Don't PM me. We don't like being PMed.
