No wonder it got a remake.

Akaneia saga da bess
Enjoyment and Excitement!Say, here's something I've been wondering: in any given FE game, is it assumed canonical that all player characters survive, apart from scripted events like the Belhalla Massacre? I'm assuming it is for Path of Radiance, al least, as everyone you can recruit is alive in Radiant Dawn.
That's what I've always assumed
Oh really when?A smaller, related question: if you play a file of Path of Radiance where Nasir performs his Heroic Sacrifice against the Black Knight, then import that file's data to Radiant Dawn, is Nasir alive in the latter?
Heck, New Mystery establishes that Marth didn't let anyone die and recruited everyone but Nagi, despite that being impossible in Shadow Dragon.
I sure said that!Wouldn't that bring up weirdness with Shadow Dragon where Marth has to let people die in order to recruit certain other people, though? >.>
EDIT: Nevermind that first question.
Radiant Dawn definitely makes assumptions about Path of Radiance's cast all surviving, though (as well as Largo getting injured).

FE: Genealogy Story Run 7PM PT Sun, Mon, Fri; Expert Unicorn Overlord 7PM PT Wed, Thurs: http://www.twitch.tv/kuroitsubasatenshiRegardless of transferred data, all PoR playable characters return for RD, though Largo lost an arm between games and isn't playable.
Doesn't Calill receive Largo's Data Transfer bonuses anyway?
Enjoyment and Excitement!Yep, in addition to her own, of course.
I'm having a really hard time with Laurent's paralogue. In addition to everything on the map being able to double Laurent himself, there's some promoted guys with Silver weapons lurking around who can threaten anyone else. Any tips?
Level the shit out of his parents before trying it again.
Oh really when?...that's it? It's that hard a chapter that your only advice is "come back when you're better?"
Take it slow and lure each group of enemies into a trap. The desert terrain gives most of their units very poor mobility.
Note that this is one of the easiest child paralogues, so if the enemies really are critically threatening, you seriously might want to consider getting more levels under your belt before doing any more of them.
FE: Genealogy Story Run 7PM PT Sun, Mon, Fri; Expert Unicorn Overlord 7PM PT Wed, Thurs: http://www.twitch.tv/kuroitsubasatenshiKjelle's and Morgan's were a breeze to me; only one reset each. Are the Paralogues supposed to be harder than the "story" chapters?
Standard Desert Chapter procedure helps- Everyone on a horse that lacks wings should stay in the barracks.
I sure said that!Really? Hmmm. The enemies in Laurent's paralogue should all be about the same level as the ones you fought in those other two paralogues. Later child paralogues will have mooks as high as level 8 promoted.

FE: Genealogy Story Run 7PM PT Sun, Mon, Fri; Expert Unicorn Overlord 7PM PT Wed, Thurs: http://www.twitch.tv/kuroitsubasatenshiMy main problem seems to be misjudging the range of the two Falcoknights. You think I should highlight them?
You should always know the range of your enemies. If you press X then you can see the attack range of every enemy on the map. From there, you can select individual units so that you can see their exact range.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book! It's rarely a bad idea to highlight the troublesome enemies.
You'll need to visit all four regular villages to find the hidden village that gives out the Goddess Staff, as a warning, so standard "Kill the Barbarians Fast" methods are also recommended. This is a chapter Swordmasters will like a fair bit- Lots of axes, less competition from mounted units.
I sure said that!...I see only two villages. And can Berserkers destroy villages?
The villages vanish and appear as you visit them. There's four regular ones, plus a single one that exists more like the desert treasures in past games.
I... I honestly don't quite remember, since I usually get rid of them before they could ever reach a village, but I'm thinking the answer is yes.
I sure said that!
I recall that it was also a really low budget effort. I recall reading how one of the developers described it as more akin to developing a doujin game than a first party Nintendo title.
Don't PM me. We don't like being PMed.
