That first link had me expecting a sky burial.
I have a message from another time...Maybe if ZUN ever makes a vulture youkai.
Eating a Vanilluxe will give you frostbite.Unless I'm reading the tallies wrong, Kaguya is losing.
"Allah may guide their bullets, but Jesus helps those who aim down the sights."Now I wonder what other kinds of competitive murdergames Kaguya and Mokou partake in.
On another note, I just had the (re-)realization that the Japanese names of the games are really cool, especially some of the recent games like Bright Needle Fortress (DDC), Tale of the Ultramarine Orb (LoLK), and Jade Scepter of the Skies (HSiFS).
...Now that I think about it, what is the Jade Scepter that HSiFS's Japanese title refers to?
A pie bus falls into a multiversal convergence point. Hilarity ensues.I look up "jade scepter" and I found the chinese scepters named ruyi.
I look up "season scepter" and I got ewoks. what.
Murdering time and space. Now on Twitter."Season Scepter" didn't first lead to Legend of Zelda? Huh.
"Tale of the Ultramarine Orb", eh? Think that relates to the lunar capital Occult Ball, or is it some specific thing about the moon itself?
I have a message from another time...Didn't the Ultramarine Orb refers to the elixir Eirin gave to the protagonists?
Following that wikipedia link:
Possible boss? Feels kind of a stretch though.

Ah, so it is.
Of course, now I'm wondering how the elixir got the name.

I have a message from another time...The jade sceptre belongs to the Yellow Dragon. Somebody stole it and now the deity who's in charge of changing the seasons is pissed off.
Now I totally want HSIFS to somehow be centered around a bunch of people fighting for a "magic scepter" that turns out to just be a backscratcher.
I have a message from another time...I've read a story like that. I think.
Check out my fanfiction!A) You don't seriously expect us to know that yet, do you? B) That's actually a really obscure kanji and I have some doubts about translating it like that
Keeping in mind that "ultramarine" is a questionable translation of a kanji that can mean blue or purple, there's a lot of things that the title could refer to. In-universe, kanju is the future-sight medicine, though
its been 10 years since the famous Bad Apple remix that inspired the famous silhouette video was released.

"Have a good day. Have a good week. Have a good month. Have a good year. Have a good life." ~CiviaThe video itself didn't come out until late '09, though
And so musical parody channel SiIva Gunner has made Bad Apple go full circle
I do love me a good Rigid Paradise remix.
I have a message from another time...I'm partial to that Seija picture, too. I like the stark, flat yellow of their eyes standing out.
