It's often on or around Christmas.
Hm... none of those remixes seem very good to me (actually, I did a little looking on my own first and found the same ones). I wonder what is it about the original that I find better.
I shrug in puzzlement.
Probably wait until some of the bigger circles get their teeth into it. Can't wait to see what Demetori'll do.
Song of the SirensUnfortunately we'll have to wait a bit on Demetori since he already released an album this year.
I know.
I've sort of slowly drifted away from Touhou music over the past couple of years. S'been a rough time, though.
3rd Eye still rocks tho.

Song of the SirensThose who live in glass houses, Sanae
Forever liveblogging the Avengers^ Are allowed to throw the first stones.
I wonder what is it about the original that I find better.
Oh, very different opinions on Junko's Theme, I see Now, as to my opinion, that's kinda weird: I'm generally not a huge fan of most Touhou Final Boss Themes... most are sweeping, grand... but also filled with "boring bits", I feel. And at first, I dismissed Junko's Theme outright and didn't think twice about it. But then... whenever it came on in my MP 3 Player, I really liked it! And now, whenever it comes on, I listen to all of it, and still like it after quite some time, which is more than can be said for most Final Boss Themes. So yeah, I'm completely surprised why I like it so much, but I do!
Well, the funny thing is, even though Sanae is certainly weird, and her funny insult towards Hecatia was a bit uncalled for, our green miko still is shockingly nice and chill for Touhou standards. Especially in the mangas. See also: my signature ^^
Today is officially a good day. Thank you Stuffman.
Pulp fiction in my Touhou? It's more likely than you think!

YES
Holy §$%&, I genuinely believed it was dead! This is awesome! He even takes massive jabs at himself. So great to see all these cameos, including texts from my favorite 'quest-character of all, Koakuma!
That stage 2 boss looks vicious. What language is that game in? Looks like the spellcard titles are in japanese but everything else isn't?
I thought it was dead too!
NEXT TIME(?) ON SILVERQUEST:She's nervous, but on the surfaces she looks calm and ready to drop bombs,//But she keeps on forgetting whats she wrote down,//The whole crowd goes so loud//She opens her mouth, but the words won't come out//She's choking how, everybody's joking now//The clock's run out, time's up, over, blaow!//Snap back to reality. Oh, there goes gravity//Oh, there goes Alice, she choked//She's so mad, but she won't give up that easy, no!

I have no horse, and I must ride. I accomplish unlockments. The game's in Japanese. Idk why that version's in that language.
Song of the SirensYessss
Kind of odd that the uploader has a Thai patch for it. Looks good enough. Not going to play it until it's finished, though
Okay, I went through our character pages and changed something that's been bugging me. The Physical God trope pretty much says it's about characters who are gods and are therefore powerful so it really shouldn't apply here, where most gods aren't any more or less powerful than youkai, on average. As god is a species and not a power level, I replaced all instances I came across (on the Windows pages) with Our Gods Are Greater, which seems to be more generally about gods as a fantasy species. However, there are some inconsistencies to these trope descriptions (including God Job), so I was thinking about taking this to the repair shop.
Edit: It is difficult to convey how little I care about the PC-98 stuff, so whoever qualifies there will probably stay that way.
Edit: Apparently they're not allowing new repair threads, so I'd just like to let you know that these tropes are broken and have what I only assume is a billion misuse.

Huh, that's vaguely backwards
Art:
Remilia
Pipes and umbrellas
Reisen
Koishi
Shinmyoumaru
Junko and One Cup Sake
A sad result of the wiki's "Our X are Y" format for species tropes.
If you don't actually want to change the definition, but fix the description if it's unclear or start a cleaning job to fix misuse, you can start a thread for that in Short Term Projects.
Check out my fanfiction!ZUN's Kyoto University lecture from a few days ago. In Japanese.
Well, it's not entirely clear what it's supposed to be, so... Physical God in particular seems like a mash-up of "gods are like people with superpowers" and "any god that you can physically interact with", which indicates to me that there was no clear concept behind it in the first place, it was just someone thinking of Thor from Marvel comics. Over time the description's been embellished by multiple people with different ideas, making it even more confusing. The fact that Our Gods Are Greater obviously started as a snowclone just muddles the issue further.

Might be severe enough for TRS, then. Could ask in ATT or Trope Talk what it's supposed to be, I suppose.
Check out my fanfiction! In unrelated news, I want to advertise the FMW translation LP I've been helping out with, over at something awful. Which is apparently open to the public for an unknown amount of time. We've just about finished FMW3.
The stories are fun, melodramatic, and, while they suffer from a desire to make every character good at heart, pretty decent retellings of the game stories. Also fun to translate. Everyone talks way too much.

Quite possibly. I hate the song, so I haven't really checked.
Piano score, if you want a go yourself
Here's another
Heavily remixed metal version
There'll probably be some on the winter Comiket albums. That's near the New Year or something, right?
