... That was actually not what I expected! I gave it an off-putting description but I actually love everything about the picture because it's objectively amazing and that whiplash was supposed to be the punchline!

WHY DO I BREAK EVERYTHING I TOUCH?! ;_;

... speaking of which, am I insane or does that epic picture of Sanae's spellcard have a pantyshot?

Like who does that.

...OK, Tenshi vs. Katana Moonsister. A potential fight I recently thought about. Should be epic as $%&§. Opinions? No matter who loses, we win ;D

Probably moonsister in a landslide in a swordfight, but in a danmaku match... well, probably still the moonsister, but the celestial would at least have a chance.

Could Tenshi's sword manipulate the lunar surface, or does it only work on Earth?

Honestly, I like Tenshi a lot, and she's definitely one of the strongest Touhous...lolpowerlevels and all that.

...Buuuut she can't beat Yorihime. I know for a fact that there is at least some sort of god/goddess of Stone in Japanese mythology, which means there's probably little reason to suspect the Keystones would be effective.

I just had a late realization on the possible reason why Hecatia dresses like a Goth

The mythological beings in Touhou are influenced by humanity's perceptions of them (See a certain Jiangshi acting more like a zombie since that's what's in vogue now), and gods in particular are influenced by their worshipers.

Now, Hecatia is Touhou's version of Hecate. And in modern times, her biggest worshipers are Wiccans and modern witches. Since her worshipers are typically pictured as Goth girls...

As funny as that is, Reimu kind of resents the whole ordeal from the endings Clarste posted, so...hmmm...

Reimu beats up someone who was trying to get vengeance for her son's murder.

Hold it! I just had a thought. wild mass guess Clownpiece is tall/strong for a fairy, has long blonde hair and, as a hell fairy, would have a hell of a lot more reason to turn up near the Yama than a spring fairy would. Is Lilly Black actually Clownpiece? After all, think about where it was that the two Lillys were seen together... wild mass guess

wild mass guessJunko being a (nameless being) prevents Sagume's ability from working on her. Having been purified of all identifying information, the world has no idea what Sagume is talking about if she trieswild mass guess

...especially since this Pointdevice Thing will definitely be a one-time-thing, right? I mean, it would maybe be neat as a permanent Thing in future games, but not justifiable story-wise.

Pointdevice mode was tied to the story and didn't really work the way it was supposed to. I don't expect it to come back

And to that, what does her "purifying" power do?

It seems to make things simpler, mostly

Okay, so who wants to bet Chang'e will be the final boss of this saga (if it extends beyond this game)? After all, Junko's profile mentions that Chang'e 'doesn't appear in this title'...so does that mean she's gonna appear in another title?

I think this arc is probably over. There's a couple of loose ends, but not particularly beyond what's typical for the series

At the risk of coming off as dumb, how do I get these games to work? I just downloaded the Mega website's version of touhou 14 and unzipped it, but when I run the .exe file it just crashes.

Hah. I was having the same issue. Just got it fixed. Get this: I had to rename the folder the game was in. Seriously.

So, try renaming the folder to something containing no Japanese characters, and see if that works.

Speaking of TH 14, Sakuya sure got nerfed from her PCB glory days. Mostly, there's a bunch of holes in her spread shot, and Dual Vanish doesn't offer as long a window of protection or as much damage as Private Square. Still very useful, though.
