Mamizou was revealed in the files for HM. Kokoro was listed as "Boss", so we knew ahead of time exactly who would be in the game. This would be unlike that situation. However, the idea of not having a second boss-type character seems a bit odd to me, since all previous fighting games have been structured that way.

It's also been pointed out on shrine maiden there's another popular music arranger who's mentioned working on this game, but didn't remix any of the themes we heard in the trailer. Implying that there's another recurring character (since ZUN would have handled a completely original theme himself).

Hm, five new characters per game is typical. Odd that it wouldn't be in the leak, though, given the dev time for characters in these things. I'd say the bulk of the evidence points to two new bosses (most likely Hanako is stage 5 boss). If there's another recurring character I'd guess it'd be Seija, Seiga, or maybe Nue

Or it could be the random slot, and the other remixer is handling something not related to character themes

Nue seems pretty likely. I would like to see Kaguya, though. If only so Mokou vs Kaguys can be a thing.

First, I doubt there's another character at all— the previous leak had everyone. Second, if they did leave anyone out, it'd most likely be the endboss, with how Kokoro didn't have her name listed

I hope it isn't Kaguya. I mean, didn't we discuss about how Mokou would have more potential as a character outside of Kaguya?

I've been thinking on how Koishi would be involved in these events. And something came to mind; what if Koishi became an urban legend?

Yeah, but it isn't like Mokou and Kaguya have no interactions with each other. They were watching the Hopeless Masquerade fights in the human village.

That said, there are several possible characters, so we'll see who the final character would be.

Brief change log between first and this trial, based on memory:

Fleshed out story mode fights with Marisa and Kasen

Vs. Player and Vs. Network added to Main Menu

AI difficulty levels.

New Character and Stage Select

Occult ball no longer breaks combos.

Several Moves have been changed. Most notable for Kasen who has all 3 spell cards now.

Kasen is now lord imperator of Seaworld.

She has a new move that summons a seal with a beach ball and a win pose where she eats cotton candy. It all feels very theme park to me.

The best part of that move is the beach ball comes down later as a projectile. It's hilarious to see Marisa about to fire her Spark and get bopped on the head with a beach ball.

Oh. I imagine it's the same seal as in Wa HH. Which did perform in a Kappa-circus of sorts.

Wow, that Reimu doujin is really something. It's so OOC but so funny and messed up. It feels like something by Alison Air Lines.
