Isn't Yuuka almost being like Lunarians every time when we discuss it?

A pit of mothingnessThere's a few people that are fond of her, a few that're dismissive of her, and a majority that doesn't care all that much. It's nowhere near the pages-long arguments that the lunarians have been known to inspire
Speaking of Lunarians, anyone hazard a guess what they think about the whole situation Gensokyo is in? Or are they still stuck in chilling at Eientei? (And Toyohime still trying to steal rabbits.)
if you think that they even give a fuck about whats going on in gensokyo beyond the eientei crew then youre dead wrong

"Seriously, don't eat the mermaid. And not just because it's half cannibalism." ~OtherarrowYeah, As long as the conflict doesn't affect the moon they probably don't really care about this problem. Plus it involves impure beings like humans.
I don't think not having a stake in the conflict necessarily means non-inclusion. Just don't give them a story mode or at least not one related to the main conflict. That said, I think a Human Village falling into discord would be something of concern to most of Gensokyo's powers, not just those battling for religious favor. Say, Alice goes to the Village for a puppet show, finds something amiss, and gets involved. Or if Reisen shows up to sell medicine. Simple, yes, but it's a reason.
Plus, you always need those who are not associated with the incident, but just so happens to run into the PC, anyway, so why not try and include them?
Of course, I'm talking about if Tasofro can avoid transition issues from the overhaul. Unless they're really that concerned with the narrative, there's no reason not to bring back most of the old fighters, at least. They've been plenty busy otherwise, but they have had 3/4 years to work on this. I am admittedly concerned, as I said earlier, but here's hoping.
Now, highly speculative, as I'm typically wont to do, but for bosses I'm hoping for someone sowing the seed of chaos (wouldn't Seiga be just wonderful?) and someone unrelated to her who takes advantage that and isn't one of the main religious factions.

They're on the moon busying caring about things that directly concern them
Except that there is. Building a new system and creating all of the new sprites takes a lot of work. It makes far more sense to focus on characters that actually have a stake in the plot than to spread themselves thin working on a bunch of characters that don't appear in the main game mode
My Thoughts on Touhou 13.5, and what I think it heralds for the future of the Touhou series as a whole.

I make video games! Or plan to, anyway.I think you're making way too many assumptions. Why would this incident affect the setting in any appreciable way? It's not even a main series game. That's a pretty bizarre leap of logic. SOPM certainly didn't imply anything would change either. Heck, the whole thing ended with Reimu crashing the party and basically blatantly stating that nothing would be changing. Last I checked, people were somewhat annoyed at that.
Are assumptions not what all this speculation is in the end?
I agree it was daft of me to say so much about a few screens and a vague plot synopsis, but at the end of the day I was just bored.
I make video games! Or plan to, anyway.Well, speculation is one thing, but then you went on to criticize ZUN for something he hasn't actually done yet and is somewhat unlikely to do.
Also, there seems to be a strange implied emphasis on the Human Viillage, as if that's the most important place in Gensokyo. As if other locations exist merely to surround the human village, and while new places can pop in out of nowhere without changing the status quo, a development within the human village is something else entirely. Which seems a bit strange to me, since the Human Village is one of the places we've seen the least of in the first place. It was introduced in IN as the place Keine protects, got a tiny bit of elaboration in PMISS, and that's about it. It's like complaining about Seiga accidentally blowing up the Genbu Marsh. We've kinda known for a while that there's a place called the Genbu Marsh, but it's not like we have any particular attachment to it.

My guess is this is a new shrine maiden. Possibly a previous Hakurei shrine maiden, evil Reimu or something.
Her personality is nothing like that in Phantasmagoria of Flower Viewing. I think you are confusing PC-98 Yuuka with Windows Yuuka.
Not really, just look at how they added Meiling to Immaterial and Missing Power. I don't believe she has any story reason to be a usable character. Nor were there a reason for Reisen to be in Scarlet Weather Rhapsody.
However, characters with a stake will more likely be in this new game. So I assume someone from UFO and someone from Ten Desires would be playable.
I believe Youmu will likely be a playable character and likely Yuyuko too. It would be interesting to see Kaguya as a playable in this new game.
I don't think we will likely see any of the manga characters in a fighting game, so no Sunny Milk.

Everything is relative.I think you're making an over-large assumption here. While it's more or less guaranteed that we're losing the decks, it doesn't necessarily mean it's moving much closer to a conventional fighter. For one thing, there's some evidence to suggest that it has full vertical movement
That's just wrong. It's only in the last few centuries where works have been exclusively tied to their authors
Not as important as you'd think. Probably the largest fandom in recent memory was Harry Potter, which lacked this trait
Lies. Perfect Memento was a huge shake-up in the way things were perceived
Something here you seem to be over-looking is that this'll be the first time the villagers do anything of note. It's essentially introducing them into canon

Hmm...Kanako was playing with the idea to create a Youkai shrine maiden in SOPM so maybe you are right.
That was one fantastic purplequest update.
Mad skills.
Also, SDM Glamour Squad.

So. Let's all pause for a moment to smell what the Rock was, is, and forever will be... cooking.—Cave JohnsonActually, it's back up now.
Song of the SirensNope. Still not working for me.
A pit of mothingnessThat "Ee ja nai ka" thing is characteristic of ZUN... Again, I learn something new.
So, is this how the conflict will be resolved? Will someone bombard the village with amulets?

A drive-by Hakurei?
Song of the SirensAs long as nobody gives her access to newspapers, all should be well.

I'm not entirely sure she was being serious when she said that. Looking at the translation, she was acting rather lighthearted, albeit with a grim sense of humor. PoFV shows her as being somewhat of a Troll towards everyone except for maybe Eiki in her scenario.
I feel like I've said this before.
