Reimu's not invincible in single combat either. In most of the versus games she's beaten, and she loses to Remilia and Sakuya in Imperishable Night.

A popular theory is also that she lost to Yukari in PCB's phantasm.

Since, Yukari would take reinforce the netherworld barrier if she was defeated. And the barrier's still wide open for Yuyuko's happy fun times.

Oh, and let's not forget the many, many times she falls victim to fairy pranks.

Oooh, a conundrum. Two characters I dislike intensely because they always win square off, and there are arguments for both of them losing.

Well, I'd have to give this one to Reimu, because she's the PC in this instance. Yukari probably said she'd do it but then didn't.

In spellcard duels she's beatable. That's a fundamental point of spellcard rules. If she was to go entirely all out, she'd bust out an infinite-time Fantasy Heaven and have at it.

Reimu I don't hate her, it's just her job sucks, she lives alone and nobody thanks her for solving incidents.

I like Reimu more than I once did because of Faw's evil successful attempt to build sympathy toward her. But I still dislike Aya. She sucks.

It's really hard for me because I dislike both Reimu and Aya, yet that pair is the only shot type I can 1CC SA with.

And spellcard duels are the standard combat method because no-one dies except Mokou and she's immortal so it doesn't count.

And there's no '1-on-1 only' rule, otherwise Seiga and the Three Fairies would be disqualified.
