Well, the thread is dead. Long live the thread.

Sadly, without an influx of new content, the thread tends to go dormant. I’d offer to write, but that would require me to write Negima content. Which I haven’t done in some time.

Also, I’d probably have to write significantly more SFW than I have been as of late.

It certainly doesn't help that two of the thread's three posters who've consistently been the biggest contributors in terms of actual fanfic material (as opposed to ideas and discussions) have abruptly dropped off — one due to a forum ban that he's refrained from challenging out of lack of motivation to stay on the site. The third of said trio — namely, Shadow Crystal Mage — hasn't posted much fanfic material in the last few months or even past year despite frequently posting; he used to contribute a lot more up to 2-3 years ago, IIRC.

What happened to your creative juices, Mage?

I'll try for some ficlets today. Maybe I'll finally write that crossover where Negi, Harry Dresden, Misaka Mikoto and Nyarlathotep get summoned to a Disgaea-esque Netherworld and become Overlords...

... Wait, didn't someone here write a Negima/Disgaea crossover that had Konoka (and maybe Setsuna) as its central characters?

Yeah, Cygnus did, in the olden days when the post count was only in the triple digits. I think he's stopped now though.

Just had the weird thought of a The Cabin in the Woods crossover where Eva, due to her cabin needing to be remodeled because of termites, finds herself in said Cabin In the Woods with Chachamaru and Chachazero. Hilairy Ensues...

Wouldn't it end with Eva and Chachazero deciding to play a rousing game of the Hunters become the hunted with the people running everything?

Wouldn’t it end with the elder gods awakening when the sacrifice wasn’t completed correctly and the world ending?

Random poll: which of the vanishingly few 3-A girls without magic or Pactios seems like a gamer? I'm considering a fic where I send someone to a Game Mechanics Universe and don't want to use one of the main characters. I'm leaning towards Madoka, but what do you think?

I agree with Madoka. Most likely option IMO. Of course, several of the ones you disqualified are gamers, but you disqualified them.

Which game mechanics verse? (Recently I've been tempted to throw someone into Keychain Of Creation and add some 3rd Ed elements. I miss that comic)

Oh, and Sentai Filmworks recently licensed both XEBEC and Shafts adaptations for Negima, so that happened.

Given that by 353 Sakurako and the twins were shown to have pactios, I'm not convinced there are any options left at the end.

We never see what they do, so they don't count!
