Would you link to the thread(s) mentioning either of those points? Looked and didn't find.
edit: here is the "eyes colored" thread... what about the other?

Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan."Actually rich has a policy against people cutting and using his artwork at all without his permission, and it looks like all of the TV Tropes articles with an Oot S picture are violating it."
Anything from Rich himself? And what might we want to ask permission about? Lampshade Hanging?
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.Fair Use. We're using it to illustrate a concept. He can not like it, but he has no grounds for saying we can't do it. But I don't see that there was any reason to color Miko's eyes red. it adds nothing to the joke.

...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.What episode of OotS is that from?
edit: nevermind, I see from the comic that her eyes are just black... fixed image... dunno why the red was added, to make her more angry-looking maybe? but it doesn't really

According to a post on the Order Of The Stick forums, the pic used for this trope is altered (Miko's eyes aren't red in the original).
Considering that Rich Burlew would much prefer no one sliced out and used his art to begin with (though it may fall under fair use), do we really need to "poke" him by monkeying with his artwork to make it more fit the trope?
