Yeah, I was kinda ehh on all the transformation stuff in Victory, especially ones that expect pieces of mecha to assemble and disassemble mid air.
These are the words that shall come from my mouth. I shall be known for speaking them.MAD-NUG.
Teens dress as Batman to catch pedophiles; cops not impressedI've said this before, but it also doesn't help that most UC Gundam antagonist's don't seem to have clear cut motivations for what they're doing. The Ronahs' are all "The Nobility is cool amirite?" and Zanscare is "Matriarchy and Guillotines and whatever". They never had that sense of identity that Zeon did.
These are the words that shall come from my mouth. I shall be known for speaking them.Ugh.
The chorus to B-Bird sounds so familiar. The melody and the way the singer delivers the lyrics and everything. But I can't place it and thinking about it is melting my brain.

Teens dress as Batman to catch pedophiles; cops not impressedIS AMAZING.
Hey, a Crossbone Gundam sequel set in the Zanscare War.
Seems pretty interesting, since that era could really benefit from some more worldbuilding.
These are the words that shall come from my mouth. I shall be known for speaking them. Also, anyone know if the Scanlation groups doing Gundam: The Origin are still working on it?

" Magic is a method of talking to the universe in words that it cannot ignore."/dies
I'm sort of amazed nobody reposted this here since apparently this was announced somewhere in late September.

Is there any more on that? All I could make out was its in the U.C. 1000s and it involves Space Elevators.
Also, anyone else here find 0079 to be their favorite full length Gundam series?
These are the words that shall come from my mouth. I shall be known for speaking them.there's no more on G Reko that I could find.
If the information is out their it's likely on the Japanese sites.
Though not 0079 specifically I do in fact prefer the Universal Century.
" Magic is a method of talking to the universe in words that it cannot ignore."Favorite full length series? G Gundam, hands down. Then Gundam X. Mobile Suit Gundam is in the middle of the pack somewhere.
Really from Jupiter, but not an alien. What he said.
(Turn A Gundam is a very close third. If manga are allowed, Crossbone Gundam is neck-and-neck with Turn-A.)
Neither goony beard-men nor rainbow-haired she-twinks will stand in the way of my dreams!Let's see Turn A Gundam, Zeta Gundam are hands down my favs followed by Wing, Seed, 00, Gundam, G, etc with Victory Gundam at the very bottom.
Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!I'd like to ask you why you find Victory bad...
Neither goony beard-men nor rainbow-haired she-twinks will stand in the way of my dreams!Well I mean, 08th MS Team and 0080 are my favorite Gundam shows over all. Was talking about full length (i.e. 40+ episode series) shows.
These are the words that shall come from my mouth. I shall be known for speaking them.Nothing really clicked with me it's war for the sake of war, death for the same of death, and all around I just found it lacking.
It is my least fav Gundam series but I dont hate it. (I don't hate any Gundam series.)

Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!Like Many folks in my age bracket I started with Gundam Wing. I down Loaded Gundam Seed and watched Gundam00 On Sci Fi.
Though I do like them. I Find the older U.C. series far more satisfying, as dated as they are by modern standards.
Unicorn is awesome, Age though light and fluffy is actually a decent and fun series. Let's all hope thatG Reko. Is Epic when it finally gets released.
Also when it comes down to Gundam Vs Gundam, like The Goddamn Batman! The Universal Century always wins!

" Magic is a method of talking to the universe in words that it cannot ignore."Um, when it comes to a real fight, it's a coin toss between the Turn-A and Master Asia.
Neither goony beard-men nor rainbow-haired she-twinks will stand in the way of my dreams!Nah. Turn A wins, regardless. Reason? It can handle the Turn X, an ubertech suit incorporating the best aspects of the God Gundam, the suit that beat the Master Gundam.
I think it's been long-established that every 'who would win?' question in Gundam boils down to 'Turn A beats everyone. At once. Period.'.
What's precedent ever done for us?Well, in a slightly more idealistic world, Master Asia would "LOOK THE EAST IS BURNING RED!" and incinerate the pilot with his sheer manly aura... but the Turn-A would regenerate the pilot (slowly).
So yeah, I'm all for the Turn-A, but we gotta give the Undefeated of the East props.
Neither goony beard-men nor rainbow-haired she-twinks will stand in the way of my dreams!Uh... the Turn A's pilot is Loran Cehak. In an idealism battle, Master Asia is not going to come out on top.
What's precedent ever done for us?
One thing that's kinda not-sure-if-want was those BESPA suits with rotor blades on the arms. They almost looked like a Transformer. (someone better versed in transformed lore probably can tell me which one)
