Agree. If judged only by the shield itself and fuction, I would go with G-Self's original shield due to all gimmicks (built-in vulcan guns, expandable reflectors, and ability to generate photon shield). But with "used to crush Iok", nothing can beat Full City's.

@dood, last page: I've read Sentinel. It's interesting, but it didn't feel very narrative-y, in that it seems like they don't get too deep with characterization and such. That could just as much be because it's apparently based on a historical Japanese war as much as it could be the translation I read.
"Hipsters: the most dangerous gang in the US." - Pacific MackerelSentinel is based on a historical japanese war? I did not knew that.
Well this sure will prove to be an interesting read. Thanks for the info.

"Death's vastness holds no peace. I come at the end of the long road—neither human, nor devil... All bends to my will." -Demifiend.Oh! And Deathschythe (Hell)'s Buster Shield is amazing, if underutilized. Would've been nice to see Duo use it more than once (pretty sure he used it once in each incarnation of his suit). Or use it in more ways than shooting it, like use it as a forearm mounted short sword in extreme close range.
Actually, I noticed that basically all the Gundam's shields in Wing got used offensively once and exactly once. Wing stabbed a guy with his shield once, we covered Deathscythe, Sandrock only used his Cross Crusher once (and I believe he only used the flashing eyes once too), Shenlong took out a mook by throwing its shield once and only once, and in Zero's first appearance Quatre used its shield's extending property to destroy a building once and that was the only time that was used. The only exception is Heavyarms.
It was just a really odd pattern I noticed.

In other word, a large pike matter, simply being railgun isn't enough to penetrate nano laminate armor.

The GP-02's shield wasn't a weakpoint — Kou was a super nerd who had obsessed over the technical specs, so he was able to target a weakpoint in the shield (part of the cooling system, IIRC?) and actually hit it because the GP-02's shield arm was damaged.
Really from Jupiter, but not an alien. There are multiple railguns in IBO - other examples include Iok's custom gun and the Baal's wing-cannons. Generally, they're depicted as having the same grunt as equivalent conventional firearms in a slightly smaller package (so, for instance, Iok's railgun is about as powerful as a Tekkadan 300mm howitzer, while the Baal's guns are roughly equivalent to the Lupus's 200mms). It's the Dainsleif cannons, which are big and powerful enough that suits are built around them rather than the other way around, which are special.
What's precedent ever done for us?It's funny you say that, lalacus, because the Dáinsleifs which are connected to the Grazes are suggested to be able to be modular, and can therefore can be attached to any grunt this way.
For instance, that mole in the Revolutionary Fleet? His Graze's HUD had something like "installing Dáinsleif unit expansion" or something to that effect.
Spelunking through a Halo Ring is something else...Right, but you still need to remove the entire arm, plug it directly into the reactor, swap out the head for a dedicated targeting unit...
It's not exactly an uncomplicated process, is what I'm saying.
What's precedent ever done for us?GET THE FUCK OUT OF THAT ROBOT, AMURO

Spelunking through a Halo Ring is something else...I am up to chapter 4 of Gundam Sentinel and I am really liking it.
"Death's vastness holds no peace. I come at the end of the long road—neither human, nor devil... All bends to my will." -Demifiend.I don't normally post fanart, but holy crap, this is unironically the best fanart I've seen of anything in ages.
Really from Jupiter, but not an alien.Oh hell the fuck yes.
Fate Grand Order players will know me as Ryusei-Go.MEGAS XLR CROSSING OVER WITH G GUNDAM?!
THAT IS DEFINITELY AWESOME!
Spelunking through a Halo Ring is something else...Soo... I just finished reading Gundam Sentinel, I really liked it, and even though I had to look them up the mobile suit designs where really freaking cool.
Okay so I have reached the grand finale of my journey through all of those sidestories and I like to call this one... The Crossbone Trilogy (Which consists of Crossbone, Skull Heart, and Steel 7)

"Death's vastness holds no peace. I come at the end of the long road—neither human, nor devil... All bends to my will." -Demifiend.Twilghit Axis, episode 1:
Story can be found in the video description.
PSN ID: FateSeraph | Switch friendcode: SW-0145-8835-0610 Congratulations! She/TheyWhen an episode's story has to be told through its description, something is wrong.
The animation is nice, but the cuts don't make any sense. It jumps around more than a flea after downing an energy drink.
That was... garbage. Seriously. It was just... scenes randomly strung together without anything.
Trailers usually are more cohesive than this.
Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them.Ugh.... I was actually hoping that those 3-minute length rumors were just rumors.
3 minutes for an episode is not nearly enough time to explain what Twilight Axis' deal is and it shows.
The detail on the animation is nice, but it feels rather... cheap.
Spelunking through a Halo Ring is something else...Since we're going to have to read the story anyways, might as well just read the damn light novel for free and be done with it.
Yeah, this is basically taking the idea that the anime are glorified commercials for the Gunpla, and running way past the logical extreme.
Or like, a forgotten promise to some executive dragged up at 2:00 am while hungover. "Oh yeah, I told your kid I'd do a thing for their totally-not-a-shitty-recycled-ALEX, didn't I? I'll get right on that boss."
More or less the entire episode was animated by just one guy. Which would sound impressive, if the trailer didn't tell me more about the show than the show itself.

PSN ID: FateSeraph | Switch friendcode: SW-0145-8835-0610 Congratulations! She/TheyI finished Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin and I want more. Yoshikazu Yasuhiko should do a manga adaptation of the next series.
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult.I just started reading the original Crossbone Gundam. (Well technically restarting since years ago I was reading it but did not get pass the 2nd volume but this time will be different.)
Since I listen to specific music while reading manga, can I just say that the various tracks that Crossbone gets in games ike Super Robot Wars and SD Gundam G Generation are just plain badass?

I'm going to have to go with Gusion Rebake Full City's nipper-shield. Because fuck Iok, that's why.
