There are two problems with that question.

  1. I am not the rapist. The person threatening the victim's life is. That makes me no more responsible for what happens than any other person faced with a Sadistic Choice.

  2. It depends on which she considers worse. If she would rather die than be raped (as many people would), then rape would be a Fate Worse than Death. If she'd rather live with the rape, then I'd consider it, but that would lead to point #1.

Well, I had assumed that by rape you meant unwanted sexual contact. Since in this case the one whose life is at stake would probably prefer to be neither dead nor to have sex with you, I would call it rape.

I didn't say it wasn't rape. I said that if someone is forcing me to rape someone or they will kill them, then I am not the rapist—the person orchestrating it is.

In fact, I would be raped as well.
