@Omega: another person I discussed the game with mentioned that. Yamato has a workable plan on resolving the crisis. It's pragmatic. Also deeply selfish and immoral.

I can see why people would side against Ronaldo. He's let his emotions towards Yamato completely cloud his actions, whereas Yamato, ruthless dude though he is, is mostly more cool headed...at least until the Hero comes onto the scene.

Yeah, Belial's a piece of cake in that game. His gimmick is just fire and more fire so he's super-easy to handle compared to Nebiros's escort mission, Lilith's meat shields, and Megidoladyne.

Nebiros's level is up there with the FE Conquest finale as one of the hardest strategy game missions I've played. A level 80 boss that can regenerate showing up when you're level 25 and it's a save-the-suicidal-civilians mission? Yeesh.

Have to say I'm liking Ronaldo less this run for some reason. Though I still think the others jump to conclusions about him too easily.

Advice for Beelzebub? I think he's actually harder than Nebiros. Is level 65 too low to fight him?

I think it's slightly too low. I would recommend being at least level 70 as Beelzebub has Holy Strike, which is a really good skill for physical attackers.

Beelzebub also has a tricky gimmick to the battle: he shifts elements, and the element he uses has appropriate demon teams that use them.

I realize that, and every time I attack him, he warps in four new guys and resets all my progress. That's my brick wall here.

You should have an elemental spell on your guys and at least one team should have a physical skill because Beelzebub can shift his elemental attacks to Physical in addition to Fire, Ice, Elec, and Force.

This battle, at least in the Septentrion Arc, is the only way to crack Holy Strike so make sure to have everyone skill crack it even if they cannot learn it.

I think I may have to upgrade my trusty Pierce/Anti-Most/Deathbound-having Arioch. I really like him.

Right. I may just finish my Law run and go for Chemtrail and most of the other Fiends during my Chaos Run. I really don't want to put it off, but maybe if I start fresh on a new route and give myself more to do, I can do it a little better.

What do you guys think? Should I at least keep trying to get Chemtrail, or give up and just finish things?

Huh. Oh yeah, and Beelzebub nulls Curse so no status ailments. You could use Almighty if you really want to put the hurt on the fly no matter what resistances are up, Hamburger.

Did you bag Trumpeter? You won't be able to get him on Chaos.

Megaten Wikia claims he has an in-built resistance to Almighty despite not having Anti-Almighty (and ergo is literally cheating ). That true?

I suppose he does (although I usually grind up to the Level 80-90 range just to make sure that he feels the pain). Due to Ultimate Hit, he also has almighty-based normal attacks.
