centaur, pele and spriggan, and i think when centaur died i replaced it with apsaras.

spriggan's phys resist helps a lot.

In other news, Ueno clear. I want to clear at least Shinjuku by the end of the day.

I forget if Issachar hit me when I fought him. Either way it wasn't that tough of a fight.

So is Kaneko retired from doing designs for the series, or did he just take IV off?

I get the impression Kaneko is more or less retired in general, even if not officially. His addition to SMTIV was apparently very small (he worked on the early story concept or something?) and he hasn't been a major part of any project since Strange Journey (which he was a big part of, admittingly)

He wrote the story drafts for IV, which the writers then had to incorporate into the story.

I imagine Kaneko wanted Toku artists to do something because he's a fan of Toku. DDS demon designs were even inspired by Toku.

That is a more major than I had thought, but still more hands off than his work with Nocturne and Strange Journey (which, if I recall, he had a fair bit of creative control outside of just character and demon designs)

Toku guys making designs for the game is likely something that happened later on during development as well, because Lucifer's Palace concept art had a very clear Kaneko Demon Lucifer statue overlooking everything.

Okay, east Shinjuku clear. I forgot how rapidly you start gaining levels once you get to Shinjuku.

I should probably do some more of the story before I try and do that "Dance of the Dead" side quest again. David keeps kicking my butt with that stupid Blight move even though I'm able to damage him a lot.

I think I got lucky and killed David with a Hama spell.

Never did find his weakness.

He's weak to electricity. He's not even really that hard except for Mamudo and Blight. The only other moves he has are regular attack and Pulinpa.

Eh. I was stomping him even before I nailed him with Hama anyway.

It probably doesn't help that I don't have any demons that can use Media. If I had the MONEY I would get Leanan Sidhe out of the Compendium and use her but I don't think I can.

Waitaminute; you had Leanan Sidhe, right? So why didn't you just keep her Media spell when fusing her off? Did you think you wouldn't be needing it anymore?
