Shin Megami Tensei Series

The only power ranger series I saw was, 1: the one where the team were taking orders from a lady in a white dress, 2: the one where there was a hamster giving them orders, and 3: something involving dinosaurs. I don't know.

Power Rangers is just not my jam.

I've seen some folks thinking that this is the very first time this design has ever been in 3D but the model does come from the PS2 games where the Devil Summoner Cherub design was used for Ophanim.

So it looks like UMA demons will be back. I wonder what other UMA demons might return.

Apparently Mamedanuki has never appeared in 3D before?

Atlus put out a Daily Demon video for Dagda, out of nowhere. Or possibly for Dagda 2, because there's no way the original Dagda would willingly perform a combo attack with Danu.

I don't know if it's because of voice filters or whatever, but that doesn't really sound like Shūichi Ikeda to me, so I'm guessing they either chose a new voice actor, or they really amped up the voice filters.

Ikeda doesn't feel like the sort of voice actor that you'd call in for just a few quick lines for your short little DLC thing, to be fair (I say as, until recently, Shanks has only made sporadic appearances over the past 25 years, including video game DLC)

Also Koshimizu tells him something which leads him to start following him as well.

Hare of Inaba:

Another fusion accident demon. I'm going to guess that, outside of the astronomically low chance of Atlus whipping up brand new 3D models of the likes of Kuda and Kanbari the accident-exclusive races we've seen, Enigma and now UMA, are only going to have one or two members tops like Geist and Entity in games past. Assuming it doesn't have any custom passives Hare of Inaba resisting everything buy Physical is a massive upgrade over what I'm used to seeing from it.

Next is another former DLC demon, Pale Rider.

The Hare of Inaba has some pretty neat resistances as well. They resist all elements except Physical, Light, and Dark, and they null the latter two. I suspect lots of players will fuse their Essence into the Nahobino.

Imagine that. A rabbit has better resistances than Metatron does.

I'm curious if the scene where you see the protagonist kneeling in front of Koshimizu takes place after that one trailer scene of the Nahobino looking like he's in pain as red cracks appear on his body, especially since there is some speculation that the reason the protagonist gets a new Nahobino form is because something might have happened to Aogami.

And given that the protagonist is on both knees, it gives me the impression that something bad might have happened to him recently, and that's when Koshimizu stepped in.

Dagda mentions that the world of V is not too different from the one where he comes from, especially the bit about "Knowledge of humans restraining demons and gods." He does mention that Nahobino's world has piqued his interest.

Also, his combo move with Danu apparently restores Press Turns.

Well we know the Qaditsu get far enough into the sacrificial ritual at one point based on red cracks and floating in the sky, which is generally assumed when something happens to Aogami/

I forgot to say this when the first Dagda clip was posted, but the animation for Lost Hit is awesome to see.

I'm still seeing people guessing if this Dagda is supposed to be Old Dagda or New Dagda, especially since his dialogue in the clip does heavily imply he's from IV Apocalypse. Personally, I'm currently guessing that, if he is from IV Apocalypse, he's likely Old Dagda mostly because of that one screenshot where he says something like "Hmph. I take it Mother sent you?"

That line sounds more like Old Dagda to me, but I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

I hope we get a video about Konohana Sakuya soon. I'm still a little surprised she hasn't been in that many games.

He’s more likely new Dagda. They even got him Goro Majimas of Yakuzas VA for him according to the Japanese Altus account.

No, but having a new VA can be used to signify how he’s a different character, which Nu-Dagda was.

No, New Dagda is still voiced by Shūichi Ikeda, as far as I know.

Maybe this Dagda is mix between Old Dagda and New Dagda; he's got more attitude than New Dagda, but isn't quite the little shit that Old Dagda is. He's a Dagda we never got to see in IV Apocalypse.

It's neat that they got Hidenari Ugaki to voice Dagda. Guy is absolutely fantastic as Majima Goro, especially in Yakuza 0 where he gets to really show off his range.
