This.◊ I think Retro fits the bill mighty well.
Not exactly showing it in this image

Holy shit that's terrible. I'm pretty up on pop and nerd culture and I have no fucking clue who that is, and nothing about that image shows that he's either heroic or a sociopath.
"Did anybody invent this stuff on purpose?" - Phillip Marlowe on tequila, Finger Man by Raymond Chandler. He's from a Gainax work.
Fight smart, not fair.So are we going to keep the Belkar image and lock this or what?
"Did anybody invent this stuff on purpose?" - Phillip Marlowe on tequila, Finger Man by Raymond Chandler.I'd keep Belkar being a "sexy shoeless god of war" or else that goblin one which is funny too.
HodorYeah, I'm not sure why the original "sexy shoeless god of war" image isn't on the crowner. Either one works fine for me.
"Did anybody invent this stuff on purpose?" - Phillip Marlowe on tequila, Finger Man by Raymond Chandler.Didn't the Belkar on hobgoblins pile pic get moved somewhere else?
Fight smart, not fair.It is on Imagelinks.Atop A Mountain Of Corpses

Ah, fair enough.
HodorSo... No one thought of Richard? Look at the third (square-thing-of-the-story-which-name-i-cant-remember)
Just in case, hes saying "Look, I told your captain, that orphanage attacked ME! It was SELF-DEFENSE!"
Exactly. Works well as a quote, not as an image. You take the text out, you loose nothing.
Eitherway, Belkar is 2 to 1 in the lead, voting has more or less stopped, so may as well put it up,

...You didn't notice that the second option on the Crowner is a pic of Richard?
Anyways, I still really don't like the Belkar image for this, but it seems I'm in the minority on this one.
Belief or disbelief rests with you.Ok, ok. How about the 2 last panels from here? http://lfgcomic.com/page/288 tho that doesnt seems so convincing.. Just trying to help :D
Hmm, now that might work. Resizing it might be an issue, though.
Belief or disbelief rests with you.Still doesn't seem to say "heroic" though, at least not like the sociopath being pitted against goblins...

Late to the party, but how about a picture of Sam And Max, freelance police? This one,◊ maybe?
—R.J.
There's nothing sociopathic about that.
I dunno, Max looks sociopathic to me...
—R.J.
Not really sociopathic enough. It's just a bunny with a big grin. Now, Belkar, he does it for me.
I AM A SEXY, SHOELESS GOD OF WAR!!!
I am the lone wolf. I do not lead or follow.Except, once again, that image doesn't look either heroic or sociopathic without context. The art style is too simple to imply either of the sort from that one panel alone.
I like the image of Belkar chasing the goblins. You can get that he's on the hero's side because goblins are stock-baddies, and the sociopathy is pretty clear (i.e. him finding the idea of an enemy surrendering hilarious).
HodorQuote:"Just because he's fighting the Always Chaotic Evil group doesn't mean he's nice." Or something to that effect.
