I was also imagining someone with the oomph to back it up. Like, hilarious until you find out the kid's actually dangerous. And possibly still funny after that, but in a "Ha ha, oh shit." kind of way.

I feel that's kinda Grey?
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.Now imagine Grey as an angsty teenager, whom nobody understands him and his dark pain.
Except the Emosuke Wannabe part (and that's... arguable), that's pretty much describes our Nicky in a nutshell. We just only sees him when he finally, in jedi-speak, had fully embraced The Dark Side.
On scions and not-really-human: It's a bit different. Scions, for most part, will act and response like how humans act and response, and also depends on how they're raised, bar some discrepancies caused by their power. Guys that consciously trying too look or pass itself as humans, now that's kind of trouble.
And even then, Angels had habit to disguise themselves as humans, but in the other hand, they are quick to identify himself as Not-Human, "Don't Be Afraid" and all that.
Then again, the last time Angels trying to pass up as humans in Bible, Sodom and Gomorrah ends up in Flames of Divine Retribution....
And give a detective a 2nd hand copy of a fantasy book. With graffiti in it. Cheapskate.

It was useful graffiti.
Almost done with Changes. Murphy just did her avenging angel impression with Bob as a freakin' halo. This climax is going to be fun and then bitter.
You have no idea.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.Turns out the baby was a vampire the whole time.
Seeing as your last reveal had, like, no supporting evidence on our site, I think I'm just going to call bullshit and keep the crow near me. In case you're not lying. And then I'll have to eat it.
Then I'll drink your tears.
...What baby?
I think the baby is introduced in the beginning of changes, not the end. Therefore not spoiler.
Well introduced at the beginning, though doesn't actually make an appearance in the flesh until later on.
"These 'no-nonsense' solutions of yours just don't hold water in a complex world of jet-powered apes and time travel."I know you're messing with me with those spoilers because if you were serious, you would have said Susan dies. THAT'S the part that sucker punched me, though still no tears.

You still haven't read the last chapter?
I read it. I know what happened to Dresden. I was under the impression before that he would go through that during the climax, but I was wrong. Oh so wrong. Just out of nowhere like that . . .
Oh, and since he's the Winter Knight now, does that mean he can make a stronger spell for his ice box now?
Doesn't have chance to dwell on it. Post-Skin Game, though, he'll got his well-earned leave time and good reason to have improved icebox (I'll like to think he'll stocked the whole Baskin Robbins goods just to make sure Maggie stays home at free times . Oh, and maybe having Carpenter's on good days, too.).
Jim has implied elsewhere that Harry's newfound skill with ice magic is all Winter.
Also, it's fucking with his own magic something fierce.
Still not embarrassing enough to stan billionaires or tech companies. He's not using much Fire...
"You can reply to this Message!"So Mab might not be able to change his personality, but she can cut him off from the base of his own power? Well, things just got a whole lot more complicated for Dresden, huh?
Strange how the predatorial court cannot use fire but the "hippie" court is associated with it.
Fire is not just a destructive force, it is also a constructive. Civilization began with fire, after all
"You can reply to this Message!"It's about Summer vs. Winter. Hot vs. Cold. It's not directly about Predator vs. Prey. You'll notice Summer has never been particularly kind to Dresden. The closest ones that ever came to that (Pre-Ghost Story anyway, can't speak to anything else yet) were a raving loony who wanted to end the war between the two and an old woman who wanted help putting her down.
Didn't he already meet someone like that? The Goth "Wizards" from Day Off.
